Hello, I have a query regarding embedded BW in solman. i have a lot of inproviders that do not have any transformations or dtp or datasources. i read on this link

that there is some wizard to run that installs it all. but the thread does not say what wizard i should be following. can some body tell me or point me to guide which gives those steps?

I am getting this message 'The 'c' XUSER key for the DBM user does not exist or could not be identified' in SUM preparation phase while upgrading SOLMAN from 7.01 to 7.1
Does anyone has any idea on this. What steps need to be followed for this.

I heard about SAP is going to release Solution Manager 7.2 in 2015. Is this true? Anyone has information about the same like release date, about new features available with Solution Manager 7.2 version. I tried to google it but unfortunately unable to find the information.

managed system. but i don't create new DVM analysis because of see only
solman system. i want to create diffent managed system. example i want
to create ERP system that is defined managed system.

I want to configure System preparation but the system is keep loading until no end when click on "EDIT".
Please advise if you have any idea.
I have ran SGEN. also the also memory looks normal.
Able to access to http://localhost:50000 without performance issue.
Default Java memory are

-XX:NewSize=600M
-XX:MaxPermSize=512M

max heap size is 2048

Dear Gurus,
I am doing installation of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 with Sybase 15.7 database on Windows Server 2008. But unfortunately it's stuck at step 11 "Prepare database server creation"
I checked sapinst log file and found below is the error message coming repetitively.

FSL-01027 Account user="Administrators" does not exist.

FSL-01027 Account user="Administrators" does not exist.
I did checked the permission of "sybase" folder and also checked the current Windows user "Administrator" as well as other SAP Users are assigned to "Administrators" group. I can checked few SCN threads as well but no luck.
I also tried the installation from fresh but again same issue. Can anyone suggest the solution.

We are implementing Charmlite and want to activate in project landscape.
We are Solution Manager 7.1 SP11 and testing this scenario in sandbox.
Steps completed:
1. in sandbox domain controller, created two virtual systems and made 3 system landscape, where, I can release the transport and see it in QA system (Virtual system buffer)
2. The LMDB has been updated with Virtual system and in SMSY, the entries of virtual system shows up. The logical components have the client information.
Issue:
in /nsolar_project_admin ->System landscape -> change management, When consistency check is performed, we get error message saying
Virtual RFC is miising (I am guessing, it should be okay)
The logical component is incosistent (This might be the reason the CHARM is not getting activated.
"No consolidation system for development system SSA-200 in project ZTEST2
No track for project ZTEST2 with log. system SSA/200"
For me, when i look in satellite system, the consolidation system is a virtual system and it should be fine.

Hi, I have 2 questions.
1 - We have a Request for Change created, after the change got approved, this created the Normal Change document. Is this the way it should work?
2 - After the Approval, the developer logs in to create the transport request. The system and client is disabled ad the short description comes with some weird text. We have a solution created and the solution has the development system within the logical component in it. Please help..

I am trying to upgrade my Solution Manager Java Stack using SUM tool (manual method by selecting directory). Unfortunately, it is not detecting SCAs.
I tried using JSPM but it is not working. Referred note: "1600846 - JSPM/SUM calls sapcontrol without user credentials" and tried the changes suggested. Still no result.
Here are the technical details.
Solution Manager 7.1 upgraded Abap Stack from SP04 to SP08.
SUM Tool: SP10
Please suggest if there are any other alternates.

As I need to monitor my SAP TREX system using solman so i have started it with creating a new system solman's managed system configuration and at at initially it asks for the system Id and system Name(GUID,hexadecimal,36 char format).So how can i retrieve the system name in hexadecimal format .and also can i get the configuration document for the same.

I mapped all the configuration activities for MM, SD,HR,etc modules in solar02 and consultants are doing configuration in dev system through solution manager. Now my query is how we can show that or figure out that we have done configuration through solman in dev system??
Is there any Tracebility functionalityor other functionality is available to check this in solman or dev system?

I renewed my certifcates of "TicketKeystore" and "UMEKeystore" because they had been expired.
I Created in the Visual Admin a new Private Key "SAPLogonTicketKeyPair" with stored certificate.
Then I Created in the "UMEKeystore" a new Private Key "<SID>" with certificate.
In the ABAP Stack I imported the new Certificate "SAPLogonTicketKeyPair-Cer" to STRUSTSSO2 to ACL with Client 001 and to the certificate list.
But now I can't login to the JAVA part. After successfull login, the authentication screen apears again.
In the logs of server0 file "security_audit.0.log" I see this error:

I think I imported the new certificates wrong to the ABAP Stack.
Where do I need to import the "UMEKeystore" certificate?

Hi there all,
We have recently set up a ChaRM environment and done extensive customizing of the process. We are happy with how the system is working now, but we have created in excess of 2000 change documents.
Now that we want to start using it, we are wondering if there is a way to hide/delete all those "testing" change documents.
Whether this is done per user (in terms of hiding) or per system (in terms of deletion).
Is this something that can be handled via "hiding" number ranges? The issue is that when the users search, they are still getting the 2000 change documents. I know you can restrict it via the search (only search the 8*), but I'd prefer to be rid of those documents altogether.
I have read about the report RSCDOK99. Any opinions on that?

i have checked for BADI's but dint find any which automatically populates service and response profiles at the time of creation of the ticket.

Currently i have tested running scripts on OS level which are triggered by the alerts generated through solution manager.
The result was succesfull.
Further on we need a structure to control the start of these scripts.
Eg : if a filesystem alert is flagged "red" and the corresponding script should not run , but should run after the alert is flagged for 5th time.
In general i want the script should run not everytime the alert is triggred but for particular range of frequency.
Also,
Is it possible for me to trigger scrip when status is from green -- > yellow and other scripts from yellow--> red. and finally other script when it comes back to green.
2) can i group in alerts which mean the alert should come in inbox should come only once out of 3 or 5 events occured.

Firstly is it possible to fetch the raw data which SMD agents fetches from the managed system before it goes to event calculation.
i want to myself intrepret the data fetched by SMD agents and process it according to my prefrence rather than solman.
Or else
can anyone let me know the trace of SMD agen on how doest it actually work (fetch data and in which SAP table does the data is saved )

I am doing End User Experience Monitoring configuration for PI system in solman. In step 3 (Script Management) I am asked to execute below mentioned steps
:- Create an EEM script and upload it to the SAP Solution Manager for script storage
:- Create a technical scenario (i.e. specify the technical systems in which a business process runs)
:- Assign the EEM script to the technical scenario
:- Upload the EEM script to one or more EEM robots
Can some one guide me through steps to create scripts (which activity I should record using EEM recorder).I have downloaded and installed EEM recorder and EEM script editor in my PC. If possible give me link which can guide me step by step execution.
