I downloaded the latest IS Agent from SMP.

I have updated the ISAGENT using JSPM.

But when i open the URL for Byte code adaptor under Managed System system, it is still showing IS agent 8.X.X.X.

Am i missing something?

I want to update the IS agent version as i am getting error is RCA managed system in self diagnosis which asked to update the byte code agent to latest version 7.1 p9.

My company is using ChaRM and have ZMCR setup for Change Requests. Due to audit reasons, the requester and approver in ZMCR cannot be the same person.

I have gone into SE91 and access message class SOCM_ACTION_LOG. Here, I have created my new message.

I have then gone into SPRO and setup all the necessary configuration.

And it works perfectly!!!! EXCEPT.....the error message doesn't show in CRM Web Client UI. So the functionality is working fine but obviously we need the message to appear so users no why the change request hasn't changed status.

Firstly, here is my config in SPRO:

I have read online that function module CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT is used to show messages in CRM Web Client. I am not an ABAPer. How does this function module work? What do I do with it? Or is there something else I need to do for this message to show?

Pretty sure my config is spot on so just need some advice on how to get the message to show.

I have a few questions for all the SAP Solution Manager experts out there and for anyone that would like to take a stab at these questions. An organization would like to implement a 3 system landscape for the following SAP Applications; SAP ERP, SAP CRM, SAP SRM, SAP Portal, SAP XI, SAP BI (SAP BW and SAP BOBJ) as well as SAP Solution Manager. They want to use all the functionality that is available in Solution Manager. The questions that I pose is as follows;

     1. How many Solution Manager systems must one implement? A 3 system landscape or will a 2 system landscape suffice? Bearing in mind that    functionality such as CHARM will be implemented.

     2. Where will the productive SLD reside? How would this SLD connect to the Solution Manager Systems?

     3. To which Solution Manager System will all the diagnostic agents connect to?

Your expert input would gladly be appreciated and points awarded accordingly.

Currently I am exploring the new Business Process Monitoring via MAI (Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure).

I have setup monitoring objects and I am getting the required alerts.

Need your help for following questions:

1. What is the configuration required to send data to BW? For Classic Business Proces monitoring we select 'Keep Data in BW' under Alert Reorganizations. Is there any such configuration in case of BPMon via MAI ?

2. In which cube is the alert data saved in case of BPMon via MAI ? (For Classic BPMon it is 0SM_BPM)

3. Is there any configuration guide available for BPMon via MAI ? I have already referred to the presentations on the same.

Please help me to get the answers.

Hi Experts,

I want to configure Request for Change with the following requirements.

The change manager should determined as per Business Partner assignment in Sold To Party(SP) field in RFC screen.

We have 3 Sold to party's(SP) in Request for Change (RFC) for which we have again 2 diffrent Change manager's for each Sold To Party.

Once i select Business Partner 0001 in SP Flield of RFC i should get only the change managers (CM1 and CM2) which are in relation with BP 0001.

In the same way if i select Business Partner 0002 in SP Flield of RFC i should get only the change managers (CM3 and CM4) which are in relation with BP 0002.

I have tried the IBASE component assignment of Sold to Party and Change manager, but we cannont assign multiple Sold To Part via IBASE assignment, I need dynamic assignment.

If some one come across this situation and cracked it Request your Quick help to configure it.

In SAP Solution Manager 7.1(SP11), we use interactive reporting in the context of technical monitoring to determine system availability , database availability ,instance availability and host availability of managed systems.

The report for the database availability sometimes displays a small part of the day or hour without availability measurement. Because of this hourly and daily availability is found less than 100.

We have increased the resources(DIA WP) and tuned the extractor framework based on the log of background job "EFWK RESOURCE MANAGER". After doing this, the database availability values have only become better than earlier values but it has not helped us to get 100% availability.

Any suggestions ?

when I did detail analysis,  in all transports project code related to change document, disappear

although if I create new change document, project code appear,

Do we have  way to solve this issue?, I even not able to decouple the transport from change document, it giving error, do we have way where we can resync change document and transport?

Scenario1:

In my customer sceanrio we have 2 projects

1. TESTSST which is acting as SSOT (Single Source of Truth) Template project

2. TESTEE whcih is my E2E project where I have derived the Business Process Steps from TESTSST project.This is again an Template Project.

I have created 2 documents in my TESTEE project under 2 different scenarios but against the same process step

Now I want to get both these documents into my TESTSST Project.

Hence I performed action ‘Compare Project’ from TESTSST Project with below set of options as recommended in the attached document page number 15.
Yet I am unable to get the Compare & Adjust icon and documents into my TESTSST Project.

Scenario2:

I kept TESTSST as my Template Project

And created another TESTEEIMP as my E2E project but of type Implentantion Project.

Now when I performed COMPARE PROJECT from TESTSST, I got the comparison icon and upon doing the COMPARE & ADJUST both the documents from TESTEEIMP (Impl Proj) was retrieved into my TESTSST (Template Project)

Now my question is:
1. Does this COMPARE and COMPARE & ADJUST  functionality work only form project types IMPL - TEMPLATE
Or does it work between TEMPLATE - TEMPLATE projects as well.

2. Documents in solar02 have 4 status (Copy Editing, In Processing, Review &  Released)
Does it compare/compare & Adjust hold good for all the status of documents or only to specific status of documents.

We have configured system monitoring in Solution Manager 7.1 SP10 system.

Monitoring data for database and ABAP technical instance is getting captured and available in system/database monitoring in technical monitoring work center.

But host monitoring not working for both ABAP and Java systems and technical instance of Java data not capturing, shows grey entries.

We have followed and implemented the SAP note:

1853160 - Grey host metrics in Technical Monitoring

1855064 - Error occurred when calling the DPC Push web service

1638655 - Errors with requests coming from ICM

But still the host monitoring and Java system details are not working in Technical Monitoring.

We have noticed below error message on Diagnostic Agent log files:

I have installed wily agent from solman to managed system . Once the managed system activity was completed ( Introscope & Byte installation ) , it asked for java restart of managed system .

In the incident management workcenter i can see my new transcation type and old transaction type, which is correct.

Problem:

In SM_CRM transaction (with standard SOLMANPRO business role), i can see only new transaction type and I cannot see old transaction type.

I have solution manager 7.1, I did not configure managed systems as of now. I configured local SLD of solution manager system as central SLD.

SLDAPICUST is fine and SLDCHECK is also fine but getting one error:

"Functional call returned exception code 3"

"Access to XI Profile currently disrupted.

is this error belongs to solution manager 7.1 or for PI system.

can u please guide me how to trouble shoot this error. following are the screen shots. points are rewarded.
