Hi,

We've recently implemented the SLA functionality in our SolMan ITSM system.  Based on our requirements, we assigned the service products to the category 4 entries in the categorization schema.  As an effect, we had to replace certain category 4 entries with new and more appropriate ones.  Is it possible then to expire the old categories that we replaced to prevent the users from choosing them?

Then I click "show" in log field and it told me to look back to check "Check Installation-Check Service Connection".

But, i am stuck in the delete run step (Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_DELETE).

Can i get a clear explanation why the delete list is empty and the steps to follow to solve this issue in view of proceeding with the archiving of message?

Hi experts,

we are using technical monitorin on solman 7.1.

Is there functionaliy, to create e.g. weekly or monthly a report, which includes data based on technical monitoring.

We also use early watch reporting, but this seems to be overloaded for us.

And data from activated metrics of technical monitoring would be very interesting for us.

So is there a kind of a report (pdf, word, ...) which shows performanc and availability.

Maybe also compared with one week before?

Or do we have to analyze this data online with dashboards and BW?

i try to connect through the SAP Systeme Monitoring App on a Android SDK Eclipse Plugin with my SAP Solution Manager 7.1 System.

But i cant get access to the system inside the app. I can start and configure the App with my network options.

Then i choose the Solution Manager  in the list inside the App and after that i get only a Save and Load Display... that´s it.

My Software:

I am not able to get the date & time in 'First Response by'  & 'Due by' in Incident.

After clicking on Incident creation it is in 'New' status. But it is not fetching IRT & MPT dates.

What could be the issue.

I am working on solution manager 7.1 sp10.

in step managed system configuration when i go to configure system we follow steps:

1 - assign product system

2 - diagnostic relevance

3 - assign logical component.

when first time i went through the above 3 steps and when i performed assign product system solution manager automatically assigned logical component as "SAP ECC ERP SERVER".

for HR update i had to remove logical component from this step. now when i run it doesnt assign logical component automatically. i have tried to assign manually but in the list SAP ECC ERP SERVER is no more available.

can some one please guide me how to solve this issue and get solution manager to a state that it assigns logical component automatically.

one more thing i want to mention here is that when first time i ran managed system configuration for my erp server it gave a popup asking if i want to add this system as solution. now even after deleting erp system from lmdb and reconfiguring it still its not giving that popup again for adding system in solutions.

I Configured ITSM for Incident Management and everything works fine except i do not see the option "Sent to SAP"

after the message processor changes the status to "In Process".

I checked the status profile in SPRO and it looks fine to me.

Please see the attached screenshots .

Dear All,

I configured Incident Management in solution manager 7.1 SPS8 .

I configured the Tcode BRFPLUS for Support team determination and it is working fine

and also the Email is triggered to the Support Team for any new Incident.

However when the message processor forwards the incident to another support team, an email

is not being sent to the next support team.

I want to create a Z Action , but not sure how to go about it.

Any hints would be helpful.

I am not able to start JSPM -->go.bat

I implemented SLA configuration from Service Desk: SLA configuration hints for SAP Solution Manager 7.0

I will appreciate if somebody can respond why traffic light in ITEM MONITOR column alway become RED when SLA completion date is overdue even Incident was completed on time in transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR.

As you can see in the screenshot below I Completed it on 13:32:36 when clock reach completion time (13:59:02) Monitor become RED

If it is the normal behavior, is there anyway to manipulate it to set traffic light green when Incident has been completed?

I just wanted to clear the air regarding these 2 transactions mentioned in the subject. To my understanding both can be used for Incident management, aren't they? CRM_UI seems to be more advanced and also allows to use Change management etc. What is the best practice in the usage of Workcenter or IT Service Management?

In my case i need to implement Incident management and connect it to SAP, which is being done already, but now I'm digging deeper and looking forward to achieve more benefit from SolMan.
