I defined a project in Solution Manager. I included logical components that are Change_relevant.
I then press the System Landscape button on the Systems tab.
The system then uses for most systems the SM_XXXCLNT999_TRUSTED RFC, however, for a couple of systems RFC SM_XXXCLNT999_LOGIN is used. This means I am presented with a login screen and need to specify userid and password.
Can somebody tell me why this login RFC is used and not the trusted RFC?

I am searching for any detailed guide about the Date Management/ SLA Configuration in SAP SolMan 7.1 SP08.
Everything that I can find is all those default SAP guides which only say: define your date profile, assign your response profile and service profile etc.
This is easy. What I can not find is the detailed description of particular elements: e.g. date rules, calculation positions of the date types, etc.
I would like to not only copy and try, would be nice to understand the whole concept. Do you know any guide/book/any other information source that would explain it clearly?
I am new to this Community and of course, I need to configure SolMan Incident Management and somehow step by step I manage, but some of the SLA functionalities still don't work for me.
I would appreciate any helpful information. (I've already tried "SLA's made easy" from Pascal Renet Blog, official SLA guide from SAP and many minor links on the web).

My query is I am able to execute transaction and IMG Objects of ECC dev system through Solman(Solar02).But when I used to give suppose some entry and execute,it goes in loop and because of which we are not able to perform configuration through Solman. So by the time this issue is resolved I want to ask can we perform Configuration directly on ECC dev system and Later extract configuration details from dev server into Solman???

We have configured EWA report for our production server. Every week the report is generated and can be seen in solman_workcenter in solution manager but there is no data in the report generated. Please find the attached report for your reference. Kindly suggest me how to get the exact report of our production system.So kindly suggest me any special settings are there and any thing needs to activate apart from the procedure i followed. Primarily, i want to know whether or not SAP is correctly notified when a message/ticket is being sent to them.
Note : I only want to test the above without really disturbing SAP.

I am configuring Cross Database Comparison in our environment. Can you please let me know what is the strategy to migrate this configuration between environments.
The reason I am asking this question is, as part of the config, we have to mention the package, function group, function name along with the read and trusted RFC's and click on generate. Part of what generation does is it creates the function that is mentioned in the config.
If we import the package,function group and function name from other environment and then try to generate, system would complain and say that the function already exists.
Hence I feel that we would need to configure directly in production.
This would entail opening up the production system.
Can you please confirm if we do not have any other option other than opening up the production system.

I saw in a Presentation that it's possible to search SAP Notes directly from an incident (in our solution manager).
The goal is to send the info from our incident directly in the search mask of SAP Notes.
Now I cannot found a documentation to explain how it's work and how I can customize this function.
Is anyone have a documentation about this topic or an experience about the implementation of this functionality ?

on Solution Manager 7.1 (standard installation, only MOPZ and EWA) I get some QIN scheduler errors in RZ20.
Error Message is:
Unregistered inbound queue: Client 100 queue CSA_INDOBJ* (different endings like CSA_INDOBJ7100000000, CSA_INDOBJ7100000010 etc)
Unregistered inbound queue: Client 100 queue CSABUPA* (different endings like CSABUPA0000000019, CSABUPA0000000011 etc)
Unregistered inbound queue: Client 100 queueCSAPR_HIERALM
I can see these queues in SMQ2. Entries have got status "Transaction recorded", function module SMW3_MFLOW_QPROCESSMBDOC.
I found this thread Written to qrfc queue (intermediate state) but I don't know if there is a replication process between attached systems and solman.
Another thread Question about qRFC on VAR-Solutionmanager
got no answer.
What do I have to do with these entries? Can I delete them? To which process they belong?

We are a enterprise support customer and I would like to look into the HP quick test pro with sap solution manager as an automated way of testing.
As a enterprise customer we are entitled to two free licences.
I would like to know how much effort is needed from other resources (Basis) to get the tool going (meaning just the technical side of it). Is it just a case of Basis to download the software from the marketplace and installing it on my notebook , and I do the rest or would you say there is more too it?

Currently we are using QGM for managing our Transports as we are in the Implementation project.
I created a project and Generated a Change Request followed by a Transport request, In the similar way we did generated different Change Requests for different Teams in the project, for EX:Generated Change request for FI Team and MM Team.
As we are in the initial phase of the project - Realization phase. we are using Transport of Copies Via QGM for moving Transport between different clients in DEV system.
once we moved on to Testing phase -All the Transported will be moved to QAS system with QGM. That means the status of the project will be in Testing phase,Is there a way in QGM that we can Generate a Transport in DEV to fix some bugs that was raised in QAS.(as this project status in Testing)
If there is no possibility in QGM for Generating Transport request in DEV which Belongs to the same Project, what would be the right approach for this,i mean like other functionality that we can use in Solution Manager to Generate a Transport Request to fix the Bug that was raised in QAS by QGM Project which is in Testing Phase.

I am loosing my mind with the lmdb and mopz in Solution Manager 7.1.
I would like to download the CRM 7 ehp3 sp4 but I can not handle the error "successor installed for EHP 2 SAP CRM 7.0".
When I unselect the EHP2 and cfolder depency, mopz asks for assign the product instance EHP for SAP CRM 7.0 - abap.
The EHP3 is already installed on our CRM instance.

We were using SolMan 7.1 SP7 for monitoring all the managed systems and we have installed agents only for application server and DB server. Now we have installed the agents for Central services as well for monitoring.
But we are not able to find the CS server in Managed system configuration->Assign Diagnostic agent to assign the agent to the server. Could you please help me why the server name is not displayed in the list of servers, even though the LMDB as a entry for CS server.
In our pre-prod solman system eventhough we do not have agent for DB and CS the servers are listed down with the red status as the agents was not available.

I had configured CTS without using CHARM and document management in SOLMAN 7.0 using maintenance project . now my client is already upgraded to 7.1 with SP 05. I have very limited knowledge on the CHARM.
Now they want to use full functionality of CHARM to control big template project. there are several business processes in the template project and under each business process there are list of RICEF objects.
Please help here to find the correct method to select the project whether maintenance, implementation ,etc., , and how to configure CHARM to support individual business process

I have problem from SAP Solution manager for VAR Support scenario. I run RZ70 send system landscape from our customer's system and re-sync in LMDB, I found same hostname from different customers EX "SAPPRD".
I try manual create host but can't change in LMDB technical systems by manual.
Do you know how to change host name or fix this problem. Thank you.
