I am configuring solman 7.1 sp10. i m observing that from MMC DAA service is yellow. and jstart some processes are running how can i solve error.During system prepration and and basic configuration i m not able to connect agent too.Pls find error and share basic config docs

Dear all,
My intend is to activate EWA for one of my managed/technical system.There is connectivity between Agents (all is green on managed system) of managed system and my SOLMAN.
- Managed system is visible in SOLMAN via two technical systems.
- On EWA Activation screen ( step 1 - check Prequisites) System is visble and all is green:
- But in step 2 (Activate EWA) managed system is not visible - there is only SAP Solution Manager:
What can I do more? Where to check?

I am almost done with my first ITSM project and now I have some below more requirements-
1) Need to send auto email to IT Support manager for every Incident creation and close (confirm). We have already setup the auto email to processor and requester which is working fine.
2) We haven't configured the SLA for time being but we want to send auto reminder email to processor/requester if ticket remains in same status for 10 days.
3) By Default system is picking as Development System in System Details of Message Data at SAP however system's role is set as Prodcution in SMP and in SCC4 too.
Please suggest.

Check the scree shot.Usually it should show "Workbench Request" and "Customizing Request". It showing only "Create" and "Create" respectively.
Please help into this, how I can see those Alias correctly.

Hi All,
The follwing error message is obtained while testing "System Landscape" in Tx solar_project:admin in Solman 7.1 SP10 (Win/Sql Server):
Even when procedure is indicated in the above message, I´m not able to figure it out. I'm not able to find exactly where a RFC is linked to the logical system. A read RFC exists under "Solution Manager Configuration" workcenter, in "Managed System Configuration" section: Its connection test works ok. Actually I'm able to check that RFCs under "destinations" in both logical components and product systems areas in Tx LMDB.
Could you please guide me to the procedure should I use to get this RFC working?

When I am trying to activate charm, I am getting below errors
1 "Error Getting TMS Configuration"
2 "Invalid TMS Configuration for Domain"
3 "Transport Control program not configured"

I am currently installing Solman 7.1 on a SQL 2008 R2 database. I am doing a Homogeneous System Copy (MS SQL Server-specific: Detach/Attach or Backup/Restore)
I have completed the restore of the DataBase.
When I go through SAPInst I follow all the steps and everything seems to work fine until I get to the point where I point to the Kernel files and the install looks at the DataBase and I get the below error:
An error occurred while processing option SAP Solution Manager 7.1 > Software Life-Cycle Options > System Copy > MS SQL Server > Target System Installation > Central System > Based on AS ABAP and AS Java > Central System( Last error reported by the step :Errors when executing sql command: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Database '<SID> does not exist. Make sure that the name is entered correctly. [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Function sequence error

For Some process there are T-codes which i already assigned in Transaction tab in solar01 but there are some process for which we need to follow some path like going in SPRO and then navigate to some step for executing so my query is how I am going to assign transaction for that process step in solution manager.Is there any way to do this?

I want to add org units and master data for different modules in solar01 but when i am doing F4 help in structure it is showing data like example Org unit and Master Data of SAP R/3 4.6C version so i just want to ask whether it always come there 4.6C version data only or there is something wrong with solman server like patches need to be upgraded because SAP 6.0 is available now these days.

I'm running SUM for the first time. I've run a MOPz transaction in Solution Manager, selected the appropriate OS and downloaded the suggested files into EPS/in
However, at step 5.2 I get the following error:
No suitable SAP Kernel archive for platform WINDOWS_X86_64 was found in the download directroy although the new SAP Kernel software component is requested at stack configuration file.
Please review your settings at the stack configuration file and check the attributes of the mentioned SAP Kernel archive at the download directory before you continue.
There are Kernel files downloaded and present in EPS/in but they seem to be the wrong ones?
Is Maintenance Optimizer identifying the wrong files?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi all,
I want to configure an action for document type SMDT (test case error) so that an email gets sent automatically when the processor is changed.
For that, I have copied the action profile SMDT_STD to ZMDT_STD, copied one of the actions and set it to send a mail to the message processor.
However, the standard method called from the action definition CALL_SF_RETEST_REQUIRED called from class CL_AGS_SMT_WITC_PROCESS_SMFORM always checks if the status of the incident was changed. If not, it will not send any mail. Is there any other method I could use?

Is it possible to set up monitoring and alerting functions fromone central Solution Manager of service provider for all these customers?
Or should each customer have their own Solution Manager system?

we have started a upgrade of our Solman to 7.1 SP8 (from 7.0 ehp1) in ITSM Scenario,
We would like to know if the ibase for Business partner need to be changed , ou to be regenerated ?
Do we need to restart from scratch ? in solman_setup the ibase creation is a step for master data creation. (and to connect it the LMDB)
From my view, it would not be changed though we need to regenerate it to to make it available from LMDB.

We have recently implemented Service Desk VAR scenario, we have everything set. But Sold-to Party determination not working based on Ibase.
We are in Solution Manager 7.1 SPS10 (Recently migrated from 7.0 SPS25)
Steps already done as below,
1. Sold-to Party maintained with Calling Hours in BP
2. Sold-to Party assigned to the Ibase componenets (Every client as well Installation)
3. Partner Determination Procedure for ZMIV0001 have been set correctly.
Also referred below notes,
1165357 - Sold-to-Party is not assigned to Service Desk message
1858608 - Sold-To Party not filled in Incidents
Still no luck.

When we upload the documents(PDF,WORD,TEXT,EXCEL) using solar01 tcode,where exactly those documents(PDF,WORD,TEXT,EXCEL) will be saved in solution manager,if those will be saved in the database what is the tablename.

we recently installed the solman 7.1 and upgrade kernal and supportpack levels to 10. at this stage every thing is fine, i can easily browse the sld with
the bellow url http://hostsname:port number/sld. but solman_setup is not opens in browser. for this i refer this note and and added some parameters in
rz10. 1582842 - Profile parameters for SAP Solution Manager 7.1, solman_setup is working but nothing is comes with http://<hostname>:portname/sld. nothing is browsing is in this . how to trouble shoot this issue
