I'm implementing ITSM on SAP Solution MAnager 7.1 SPS14 my customer wants to set up an approval procedure for Hardware Requirements, so this categories of Incidents can be approved or denied according to availability. Is this posible for Tx Type SMIN? or I need to use another Tx. Type and how can I setup de approval procedure?

When we clear the other currencies entries in F-03 T code, the difference will not be picked automatically so we will update the difference amount manually.
hi all
when we are doing f-03 in document currency , the difference amount is posted to Forex gain or loss account and also it is posting two more line items Forex Gain and Loss realized account with huge difference amount. Original Posting is 48788.36 EUR , but the FX gain and Loss posted 255011.84 & 255782.30.
Please some one help me on this issue.

Getting a User Report out of SolMan
Hi All,
In our project SolMan is the central repository of SAP users.
Customer wants to have a report containing user data like User Name, User ID, Validity Dates, Last logon Date etc.
Please let me know any suitable datasource that is available in SolMan for this purpose. Should this report be generated from SolMan using the inbuilt BW or should the data be loaded to standalone BW and used for reporting?
Please let me know what the best practice is.

Where I can import a single support package file in SolMan 7.1 . What's the procedure. Votes would also be a link to a guided procedure .
Or is basically just a complete support package stack for recording in SSM possible ?

When I login to managed system(PRD), and create SESSION_REFRESH task, EarlyWatch Alert for Solution Manager Task not appear in SDCCN To Do tab.
The Back RFC to Solman is SM_SMPCLNT100_BACK...
Which is working well from Solman (SMP) Managed System Config

Ensure that the service content is up to date beforehand. This can be done in transaction AGS_UPDATE, more information is provided by note 1143775.
Refresh the service definitions in the solution manager using RFC SDCC_OSS as per note 727998. You have delete and replace the service definitions.

Relevant for Logon in Landscape Incorrect system
Hi Experts,
We are facing a strange behaviour with our normal change for BPC 10.0 system. Whenver user selects the component in the request for change the assignment block fills BPC system and another system as relevant for logon which is not correct as it doesn't happen if we use Urgent change.
I found OSS note 2157513 which says if the installation number is same for different systems then it will mark all those systems as relevant in landscape but my question is why that doesn't happen with urgent change ?
Any idea ?

CBTA composite script fails due to no trusted access
I have created CBTA scripts that work well. I have defined various test users and passwords in the System Data Container. Now I have created a composite script using these same scripts. The composite script fails due to the tester not having an account on the System Under Test.
1) Why does a composite script need to access the SUT before any subsequent script starts? Each script must run on its own with proper test data and system data (user accounts and passwords) so why add that requirement. In our case we have testers who have no reason to have personal accounts on the SUT. Besides, our end-to-end scenario requires testing with many accounts in order to test authorizations for various business roles (i.e. manager, operator, approver, administrator, etc.). So this initial validation seems meaningless and unrelated to the scenario we are testing.
2) Another problem is with scheduling. As another discussion thread pointed out you have two options for the RFC used in this situation. Your can select the LOGIN RFC or the TRUSTED RFC (in Step 3 of Managed System Configuration under "RFC for SAP Solution Manager). If you choose LOGIN then you can't schedule scripts since they would require a username and password to be provided. If you choose TRUSTED then whoever schedules the script must have an account on the SUT.
Given these problems is there a way to disable the requirement to login to the SUT before running a composite script?
Approval procedure in Normal Change document (SMMJ)
Hi All,
We would like to implement an approval procedure directly in the normal change document, as we will be using these document without Request for changes. Our goal is to have a possibility to have multiple approvers in each step, but only 1 approval is adequate from them (only 1 person is fine to approve from a group).
In other words, we created a categorization schema that includes several business areas (FICO,MFG,WM, etc), each area have multiple possible approvers, but one approval is needed only from any of them. We created rule policies that fill out the approval procedure/approval partners based on the categorization schema. Our plan was that once the approval is granted in each step, the status of the document can be switched manually/automatically to the next step, so for example to move the transports to quality.
First of all the issue is that approval procedure seems to be non-standard for change documents and also it seems to be impossible to have multiple partners added in the approval procedure as if i add multiple approvers in the rule, only one of them gets filled for all the partners.
Do you have any suggestion on how we can make the approval procedure work with change documents or do you have other suggestion on how to achieve this approval concept in a different but effective way?

New Solman - existing BI SIDs - Cannot pull latest SPS

I submitted an incident but hope to get more rapid results here...
Our environment: a mix of ECC, XI, BI, EP, Trex, and so on.
Shutdown older solman after installing a new solman (in Dec 2015).
All satellite SIDs are reporting to new solman via SLD very nicely.
Started a new MOPZ transaction to pull the latest stack for the BI
SIDs (which are on NW 702 SP17 as of Q4 2015). Unfortunately,
during the transaction, I have only ERP 6.0 from which to select
instead of EHP2 NW700. It seems the BI SIDs have told solman
that the primary, or Leading, product is ERP 6.0 instead of NW 702.
My question: Does anyone know how to mod the SIDs so they
forward NW702 as the Leading Product; with ERP 6.0 as secondary?
The odd thing is that everywhere I look, whether the SID itself, the SLD's,
LMDB or SWFEATURE, EHP2 for Netweaver 7.0 shows up as first in the list.
However, PRDVERS is displaying SAP ERP 2005 (ERP 6.0) before
EHP2 for Netweaver. Oh, I can't compare with the other system types;
ECC is single-stack and, although XI is dual-stack, it does not have
ERP 6 components on-board...

Additional Information Error When Raise Incident to SAP Using Solman VAR
Dear experts,
We are using Solman VAR to raise incident to SAP.
When we want to send message to SAP, in Additional Information tab, we click Insert Existing Text,
Then, we click to the message that we want to send
However, nothing appear
We tried to manually copy paste the text into the box. Then, click Next
But, in Summary & Send tab, information for SAP is blank
Then, if we click Confirm and Send, we get below error:
We already implement SAP Note 2020686 and 2287146. But still same.
Please advise.

Missing Current Value in Adapter Engine Configuration GoingLive Check Verification Session
We have generated Post Go-live check in Solman 7.1 for our PO production system. But the report shows missing current values in section 9.2 Adapter Engine Configuration.
For example:

But if we check the value in PO system, it was maintained correctly. Our only concern is why in the document, it was unable to get the current value.

We have implemented cCTS to one of our landscape and CHARM is Live.
Now we to roll out CCTS CHARM for another landscape.
So can I add new systems to already existing Clusters?
Or do I need to create new clusters for the new roll out.

Basic Configuration Step 3: Configure CA introscope - Path is missing

I am facing following issue in step Configure CA Introscope of Basic Configuration I can not enter path to EM installation
If I go via Solution Manager Administration - Infrastucture and Introscope - Start embedded I can see and enter path
but EM is not discovered/appears
EM is running ... permissions for daaadm also ok.
Any ideas, tips?
