Hi All,

I am trying to update the support pack in solman sp9 to sp14, During that Extraction phase shows some error. Before, i have de installed the solman 7.1.

I have attached the error shot below and log file . Anybody know the solution for this issue.

We currently use Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 13 to report on compliance of our SAP production systems. These reports can be emailed to users via the BEx Broadcaster 3.x tool. The most effective methodology is emailing a link to the report. We would like to utilize the functionality of the BEx Broadcaster 7.0, which adds PDF, XLS, etc. to the mix. Can we upgrade that tool locally? Or do we need to point to our BW/Portal landscapes to enable that functionality? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the Diagnostic Agent update executed by LMSERVICE patch?

When I am doing managed system I have given relevant role to the user SM_SM1 in Managed system, Still I am receive the error at Configuration check error.

I think role mismatch from Solman to Managed system.

"Role has been not been granted to READ RFC User"

Anybody know this issue.

when setting up the technical monitoring of our PO system we get the following error message.

TR: SOLMAN_SETUP --> Technical Monitoring --> Integration Monitoring --> Prozessintegration

General Note we tested 1796893, 2274878, 1791457.

I want to monitor from solution manager my CRM 7.0 EHP3 based on NW 74.

My solman is on SP4 and does not recognize NW 7.4.

So I cannot set the monitoring for this SAP system because the template is missing.

How could I update (if possibile) thi definition without updating all the software components of my solution manager to a newer SP?

we are with our ERP 6.0 landscape on NW-740-SP04 and EHP7-SP02

we want to update to new SPS, for example,  NW-740-SP13 and EHP7-SP11

but MOPZ did not create the correct target-components for all systems.

only for the first System (ERE=Developm) the target ist correct,

three other Systems (ERT=Test/QS, ERP=Prod,  ERY=Sandbox) not. (is on Initial shipment - that is not correct)

I need help with my code. I need check user selection for Project. I need check whether user to select business step for selected project.

Hello everyone,

We are implementing the SAP ChaRM and are doing the final adjustments in the system. One of these said adjustments is the e-mail notifications. We opted to use the mail_forms to compose the mail body and send them via PPF actions. Almost everything works fine, except for a few problems that I can't quite get around of, I hope someone could shine a light on any of the problems:

1) I have an action set to trigger on create to send an e-mail to the requester informing the number of the created document and it works fine, however when I change the status of the document the system send the same e-mail again, below are some screens of my current SPPF configurations:

2) Is it possible to trigger an action on save when an specific partner role is changed? In my case I want to notify a person when he becomes responsible for a transaction.

Hi Experts,

we installed the Solution Manager 7.2 and configurated them. Now I Have a Issue.

A urgend change is closed. Now I want to close the change request. But It's not possible its in the Status in implementation.

There is also in no Action to close the change request.

How can I fix it in customizing.

I have SAP_ALL as well as Trusted RFC Role assigned in managed as well as SAP Solution Manager System. When i try to perform authorization test in trusted RFC Destination then i get error message as below.

Connection to IP works fine. I get this error when settings in Logon & Security Tab are as below.

User : Current User

PW Status : Is Initial

Trust Relationship : Yes

But at the same time when i do following settings in Logon & Security Tab are as below then authorization test works OK.

User : KULDHOM (my userid in solution manager system)

PW Status : Is Initial

Password : ******* (my password for solution manager system)

Trust Relationship : No

Am i going wrong somewhere in settings. I think in Trusted RFC destination there should be current user. Please suggest.

I am so tired because i lost huge time in trying installinh the SOLMAN 7.1 in Windows environment.

Will describe what I did exactly, and I seek your support to help me closing this subjest ASAP.

0- Downloaded some guides (Master, Install...etc) : They are huge, but not really useful as procedure

1- Downloaded the needed softs (SAPCAR, SWPM, Download Manager)

2- Goto MarketPlace and downloaded all the packages related to SOLMAN 7.1 for Win x86 64bit

3- Launched the sapsetup and started installation.

I did many trials :

* install the Solman 7.1 based on ABAP

* install Netweaver 7.x (first, then will follow the rest).

* Each time, I got stuck in one level (import ABAP ERROR)

Discovered that some packages are missing (requested by the SWPM) and need separate download (like the UC Kernel)...

Currently, really I am lost and need your expertise, to get me up with hints and especially smart hand procedure, that I will try to build my own version and share it as well.

Need some simple procedure, with snapshots and description and links, please.

To start correct, what exact version I need for SWPM, as the 2 ones I have tried are new and do not show the option SOLMAN 7.1 Support Release 1

Also, please tell me exactly the needed media files with the links to source @ Market Place.

Hello, please let me know if you suggest me what to do in the following situation:

There is an interface channel monitor setup for SAP Process Integration, on one of our production systems. If i look for status group 6 system errors, the monitor does not find all the messages, only those what are by the WebMethod sender component. No matter if i do not filter for anything, not all messages are found. Can you please advise what shall i check?

We are upgrading SAP Solman 7.1 SPS with SUM tool.

During PreProcessing Phase ABAP>MAIN_SHDCRE/DBCLONE our SAP System down due to Cloud issue of our Windows Server.

Now when we are starting SUM its giving error (Screenshot Attached)

During The Phase Log showing that SUM is working on Background Job DBCLONE01, DBCLONE02 & DBCLONE03 but there is no job in the system

Moreover SHD instance created in SAP Management Console but Disp not starting.

when i tried resync it says missind data supplier

becaz of this i was not able add product system to logical component when i tried to create mopz and select SID and version then the Product system is missing it is very urgent any suggestion will be great help

We are planning to merge 3 productive solman's into 1.

Since we have to go from 3 installations to 1, we are considering doing a fresh new installation of 7.2, and importing data like documentation.

However, is this possible ?, will the project transfer, Work if we export from 7.1 and import to 7.2 ?

I understand that in 7.2 more layers are available in 7.2, will this be a issue ?

or mayby solar_migration trx code will Work ?

Any thoughts or tips is greatly appreciated.

Wish to install Solution manager.

Usually the download software was available here

MY COMPANY'S APPLICATION COMPONENTS - > my company software.

But  " Solution manager 7.1" has disappeared. I found it few days ago.

Same is with

A - Z Index

- > "S" ->

There is no Solution manager listed.

I can see " NetWeaver" also has dissapeared.

Please help in locating Solman and Netweaver software packages.

I am logging in with a valid S user , and I downloaded the packages just 2 months ago, as i remember from same location .

I was able to configure the ITSM Email reply and tracking text attaching to the existing incident by following the blog - E-MAIL INBOUND CONFIGURATION- ALM: Incident Management - SAP IT Service Management on SAP Solution Manager - SCN Wiki

Using the Mail forms is it possible to send the text log and the full description in the emails. I was able to capture only the Description, but not the complete text log. Is there any attribute for this.
