2095084 - CRM UI: Error message "The transaction could not be sent to SAP" displayed incorrectly
I don't know how to perform the last part:
"Then you need to assign the schedule condition CHECK_FORWARD_SCHEDCOND to action ZMIV_VAR_SEND_SAP_AUTO and remove the start condition"
It's related to ITSM VAR configuration and I'm not very familiar with it. Thank you for the help.

I created a custom assignment block in the ChaRM change request (ZMCR) and another one in the change document (ZMMJ). The one I created in ZMCR works fine. The fields are editable and save/auto-fill as expected. However, the field in the change document's assignment block does not. When the charm document is edit mode, the field stays in display mode. I created the field the same as I did in the Change Request.

Any thoughts on why the field isn't editable in the change document?

Hi All,
We have recently upgraded the Solman system to SP13, after upgrade Select radio button is not working .due to this issue we are not able to use MOPZ, test management ,... functionalities.
For Similar issue SAP released note 1780509 - Select Options for Metric parameter values is not working for SP04/05.
But this note is not applicable for SP13. but not able to find any note for SP13.
Any idea about this fix?

We use Solman 7.1 SP12 and everything is OK with SMIN.
I'm not sure if it's work when ZMIN was created, but now the standart irt and mpt calculation is not started.
Do you have some hints for me?

We are planning an upgrade project to ECC Enhp7 and will be installing Solution Manager for the first time?
There are so many tools and features to choose from that I'm not sure where to start.
There is Change Management (Charm), Test Management, Custom Code management and many other features
to implement. I know it would be overwhelming to try everything at once.
Does anyone have a roadmap to recommend how to go about leveraging Solution Manager?
Any tips on how to get started will be greatly appreciated.

I have a landscape as follows
Dev-->Quality1-->Integration-->Maintenance-->Quality 2-->Prod
Two tracks one Project track and one maintenance track ( Maintenance--> Quality 2--> Prod) .
Retrofit from Maintenance box to Dev box
One of my query is as i have 2 quality system in the Project track... is there any complication?

I am new to CHARM configuration, I don't know how to define roles for requester, developer, manager and IT operator,
I fallowed the security guide of SP 14 and i assigned the respective roles to the users, but i am not perfect authorization object please help on below questions,
What is
1) CRM_UI_PROFILE in user parameter and how to define for developer and manager etc..
2) What are main roles for Manager, developer and tester.
3) how to assign business role to the user..
4) authorization object for Set Request for Change to validation..
Kindly assist me on this i am running out of time for Go live..

I have a security role which allows users to approve Change Requests in ChaRM (ZMCR transaction type).
This approval allows let to approve ANY change request, regardless of what scope items have been added (change document ZMMJ or urgent correction ZMHF).
Is there a way to change this security role so users can ONLY approve ZMCR with ZMMJ scope item???
If a ZMCR has ZMHF scope item, the authorization would not let them approve. Is this possible?

I have some issues when trying to run SUM in SAP Solution Manager.
I downloaded from Sap MarketPlace the file SUM10SP14_9-20006543.SAR.
I extracted it in /usr/sap/SID and was created directory /usr/sap/SID/SUM.
When I execute STARTUP, i can acess
http://serversolman:4239 but after password and username it doesnt continue.
Please take a look to the error messages

Hi Experts,
I face a strange problem that the IM_DSPT_<SID> (the dispatcher is created by template user creation step in SLM setup ITSM) can't see the created incidents even though the required authorization is given.
However, the new created user dispatcher2 CAN see the incidents with the same role as of user IM_DSPT_<SID>'s.
Can you give me some hint about how to fix this kind of problem? (Our SLM version is 7.1 SPS 13)

due to sensitive data in HR/HCM context we would like to restrict access to HR-Tickets.
I imagine it would be easiest to go via categorization or component.
Up until now I have only found Information regarding approver Determination/approver authorization and Information on how to differentiate between different document types (SMIN/SMCR,...)
Has anyone of you ever implemented a solution like this:
categorization = "HR/HCM" --> only a certain user Group, the message processor and the Reporter can find, Access, Change the ticket.

When a document status is changed in Solution Manager, I need to communicate this change to an external application, calling a webservice. So, I need to include some ABAP code function when a status is changed ... is it possible to do this calling using any action included in SMHF_ACTIONS Action profile ?

We have a Solman 7.0 system, we are planning to de-commission the system and Three Systems were connected to Solman 7.0 ( One ECC & Two BW systems). We have disconnected these three systems and connected to Enterprise Solman 7.1 SP12. The team is able to create the CHARM & Incidents successfully in Solman 7.1.
Now,the business wanted to De-commission or Retire Solman 7.0 and data has to be retained for future audit purpose.
Question
What are the possible options of Archiving or Data Migration?
Limitations:
We do not want to migrate the data from solman 7.0 to Enterprise Solman

We have 3 different teams and its required 3 different SLA's Example as below:
Team 1- Very high & High it should trigger 24/7 and medium and low- 8AM to 5 PM
Team 2- Very high & High it should trigger 24/5 medium and low- 8AM to 5 PM
Team 3- No very high. Only High, medium and low -8AM to 5 PM
1.Please let me know how to configure?
2.Is it possible to assigned 2 service profile to 1 response profile?
3 Is the above configuration can do without any customization?
4.Is it required to make Mandatory to make the sold to part ?So that if they select Team1(Sold to part)..SLA will work as defined?
