Incident due date re-calculation when status changed to closed

Hi Experts,

 

I am using SAP solution manager 7.1 SP13, I have configured incident management with SLA determination and escalation.

SLA clock stops at proposed solution status and the due by is getting re-calculated when customer accept/ reject the solution.

 

my requirement: Due by date should be re-calculated only when the customer reject the solution. If the customer accept the solution due by date should not re-calculate.

I have assigned the duration SRV_RR_DURA at proposed solution status. Please advice.

Mapping User ID details under Business Partner

Hi,

 

There was a requirement from the customer, to have ticket assignment under ITSM using User Group mentioned in User ID, Logon data Tab.

 

But was Business partner is used under ITSM, I am not sure how can the mapping be done.

I was unable to find any relevant field which could be mapped with USR_GRP under Business Partner.

Also, where can I add Z object for using under BRFPLUS - creating a condition in Decision table to enable ticket assignment based on Z* field mapping User group.

What is the meaning of Service from the point of view of SAP Solution and is it compatible with the ITIL point of view?

I am triying to identify Business Services in order to manage them from the point of view of service health and cost. So, I am ITIL fan and must build the Service Management function based on it. But I don't sure if the SAP Modules are nearest or similar to the Service concept of ITIL.

I think, I need to build first the basic monitoring activities of servers and IT inf. to go up to the next level quality service. What are the products and software elements that I need to build up?. How Business Service Management is running in advanced companies? Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

EEM - E2E trace error "Backend request for populating Messages failed"

Gurus,

 

We are on Solman 7.1 SP13 with LM-SERVICE 7.10 SP13 Patch 4.

I am running a EEM script (HTTP, ICWEB) hitting my CRM7.0EHP3 system, which then calls back-end ECC6.0EHP7 system.

 

My script is part of a technical scenario that the 2 managed systems are also a member.

These systems look good in SLD/LMDB/Managed sys conf.

 

The script runs OK!  But I would like to "jump" into the E2E trace from the EEM UI:

EEM is great, but the real gold is in being able to jump into E2E trace to REALLY look at what is going on when you have integrated systems like we do!

Hello all,

 

if i start the workcenter 'Solution Manager Configuration' (or TA solman_setup) and

 

start the setup of 'Job Management' i get some empty areas:

The help is empty and if i start the transaction via 'execute' nothing happens.

 

If i start it with the button 'Start Transaction' it opens an empty SA38.

 

We use SM7.1 SP13.

 

Any suggestions ? I think it's not the usual display !?

ChaRM cycle phase settings

Dear,

 

We are working with 4-tier landscapes, i.e. DEV-TEST-ACC-PROD. When we switch a project cycle to testing phase, we still want to allow TOCs to be sent from DEV to TEST. In the standard this is not allowed (I believe this is because ChaRM was built for 3-tier landscapes). But we want development for the next cycle to be able to continue to test in the TEST system with TOCs. Testing for the current cycle is performed in ACC so this does not interfere.

 

Where can I configure which document actions are allowed depending in the current cycle phase?

How to change default Incident SNRO from CRM_INCDNT to Z*

Hi All,

 

When I replicate a new transaction type from SMIN into (let's say) ZMN1, by default SNRO CRM_INCDNT still being used in that new copied transaction type. I know that I can change the internal number range from (default) '01' to something else 'Zx'.

It is also clearly explained in this article.

 

However, I would like to know if I can change the number range object from CRM_INCDNT to another new custom number range that I defined. How can I achieve that?

Also, what is the impact (probably the the shortage?) if I use a custom SNRO compare to default SNRO assigned by SAP?

Managed Systems Configuration even for the SolMan?

Hi Experts,

 

I had a problem with the Solman a long time ago and opened a SAP ticket. The processor from this tickets said that it is not a good idea to configure the Solman itself as a managed System. Is that right? Because the Solman is also in the technical Systems overview in the managed System configuration and shows red and grey lights. This is a little bit disturbing.

If the business blueprint is generated using program RUTILITY_BLUEPRINT_GENERATION, is it possible to run it again later (in a year) to determine the delta changes in the managed systems?  What is needed to get this delta report?

Do we use Issue Management with ITSM (CRM_UI) - transaction type SLFI?

We are trying to test and use CRM_UI for ITSM.  We customized SMIN and added 2 fields.  The users also want to look at Issue Management which we see in SM_WORKCENTER. 

 

I am looking for Issue Management using CRM_UI and do not see it.  I would like the users just to use CRM_UI and also provide Issue Management.  Is this possible?

So can we add transaction type SLFI for Issue Management in CRM_UI?

 

We are using Solman 7.1 and CRM 7.01

Unable to see BO cluster in LMDB

Hi Experts,

 

I am not able to see the BO cluster nodes under LMDB->technical systems ->Type (SAP Business objects cluster).

But I can see the BO servers under LMDB-> Hosts

I want to do the managed setup for the production server (clustered with 2 nodes)

Can anyone guide me through.

I have installed the diagnostic agents and sap host controls and its showing up in the Agent Agent, all r in green.

Error While Upgrading Solution Mnager

I am Having problem in upgrading Solution manager 7.1  SPS4 to Solution manager 7.1 to SPS 13

 

 

Error:

 

This trouble ticket was created by SAPup on 20160206120805

SAPup broke during phase EHP_INCLUSION in module PREP_EXTENSION / Extension module

Error Message: Enhancement Package inclusion failed, no upgrade package found for component 'BI_CONT'; please make sure that all packages included in the System Stack XML are available in the EPS inbox

If you put new packages in the download directory, use option 'init' to upload them

 

 

 

I am using SUM  and Media is  51049441

Stack.xml is used from the Media file

 

Please let me know how to solve the problem

ERMS Incident creation via e-mail in SOLMAN 7.1 SPS13

Hi All,

 

I followed all the steps in the blog -

E-MAIL INBOUND CONFIGURATION- ALM: Incident Management - SAP IT Service Management on SAP Solution Manager - SCN Wiki

How ever this blog doesn't explain Rule Policies to create an incident via email.


I created rule policy as per the rule details ..

 

IfE-Mail Subject Contains "Test"ThenSend Auto Acknowledgement ( Mail Form = Zemail form; Outgoing E-Mail Address = testsaphelp@xxx.com; Create Interaction Record = No; Create Service Order = No; Create Service Request = Yes ) andRoute EMail ( Organizational Object = Basis support Team ) andStop Further Rule Processing


but incident is not getting created.


Email is getting received in SOIN and auto notification is sent to receiver (but without Incident Number and also the Incident is not getting created in the UI)


Also referred and implemented the manual activities as in snotes - 1724280; 1616660; 1596134 too along with

1846041 - How to analyze why an ERMS inbound E-Mail is not found in the agent inbox


Referred most of the blogs on the CRM / ERMS / SOLMAN which have this incident creation subject - but unable to create the incident.

Any help is really appreciated.

Hello Expert,

we are install diagnostic agent on 2 node WFC server to connect system to our solution manager.

our system is a production system: (Windows and SQL server)

We already connect it with solution manager and we found it in TxN Solman_setup --> managed system configuratio --> Hosts:

Solman_setup --> managed system configuratio -->Databases:

But doesn't found any technical system for this server.

CBTA Issue_Local parameters are getting lost for bigger composite test cases

Hi,

We are facing one issue related to disappearing of "Local Parameters" in composite test cases.

 

Typically we observed that if the number of test scripts in one composite test cases are more than 10 then after execution, the local parameters are getting lost.

 

We have raised OSS for this and its in process.

 

I wanted to know if anyone is facing similar issue for bigger Composite test cases.

 

If anyone is has composite scripts with more than 15 CBTA scripts and not facing this issue, it would be really helpful if they are following some specific steps/process for composite script creation.

 

Note--> We are aware about the composite script creation and mappings. Any specific thing to avoid this issue is welcomed.

Attribute Change Package 09 - SLL_PI900_604.SAR - download not possible

Hi all

I'd like to upgrade one of our test-systems to EHP8 via Maintenance Planner

I started the MP transaction more than a week ago and successfully downloaded all files except "Attibute Change Package 09 for SLL_PI 900_604".

 

As far as I know I can wait for SAP to release the ACP. Maybe they release v10 of the ACP and I have to recreate the MP-transaction and re-download everything.

Is there another (dirty?) solution to avoid waiting for an "official" SAP ACP?

Does anyone have the ACP v9 at hand? Can I copy another ACP and "search and replace" within the file?

CSOL: no lock for transport request created via Workbench Organizer of managed DEV system

Hello, SM gurus.

I've got a problem with CSOL: changed objects from transport request that was created in managed development system via SE01 (not from change document or task list in SM system) are not getting added to lock table automatically.

When I try to push that transport request manually using report TMW_TRKORR_LOCK_UPDATE - I get error "No project data for request ..." (STMWFLOW024):

But this transport request is assigned to CTS project as you can see below:

The workaround for my case: I have to assign such transport request to change document or task list directly. Only than report TMW_TRKORR_LOCK_UPDATE successfully pushes changed objects from managed DEV system to SM lock table (so it does not seem to be an issue with RFC configuration in BCO_CUST).

I've implemented SAP notes 1895691, 1900560 and 1955257, but the problem is not solved.


Have anyone an idea how to fight it?

TBOM and BPCA for portal transactions

Hello,

 

Can we create TBOM for portal transaction.

As per standard document TBOM is only possible for

  • BSP application
  • CRM WebClient application
  • SAP application URL (SAP_LONG_URL)
  • Program
  • SAP CRM people-centric UI application
  • Transaction


But our all portal transactions are with URL executable types.


Can we run BPCA for portal transaction.
