which cube are used for BPMON on MAI

Hello expert,

 

I'm trying to prepare a migration of my BPMON solution based on old framework to the new framework.

In the old configuration I have created a post-processor function module. This FM prepare a csv file which is consume by an external application.

So can I reuse this FM on the new BPMON infrastructure?

Is the 0SM_BPM cube always use or others cubes are populated with the new BPMON? If yes which cubes are used?

We have created Bex report with several types of KPI.

Is monitoring objects always have a personnal identification like MONID?

Incident management app - transaction types

Hello,

 

when we open the "incident management" app for iOS, we get to see messages of the transaction type "ZMIN".

 

Two questions:

1) we use other incident transaction types (other copies of "SMIN"), but we do not see them in the app. How come?

2) Can we use the "incident management" app also for service requests (transaction type ZREQ)?

Solman Extractors CONFIGURATION (WEB SERVICE) Error

Hi All,

 

Sorry it's me again, could have posted this in the other thread but you usually get told off for that sort of thing so here is another!

 

For each of my JAVA Stack systems Solman included I am seeing this error :-

 

Exception while accessing Web Service - cause: Service call exception; nested exception is:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (port 53000 to address 127.0.0.1 (localhost))

For the extracts for CONFIGURATION (WEB SERVICE) except for production java stacks which don't show the port or address in the error.

 

Exception while accessing Web Service - cause: Service call exception; nested exception is:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

 

Any ideas what is causing this and how do I resolve?

how to Display user ID instead of BP

Hi

 

On ITSM system how can i display the login ID (shich in GUI/SU01) of every business partner on My data page or when we click on

the name of the creator of Incident/Service .

 

no issue if will display both but we need to show the login I. i know all are available on BUT000 table

but how to show. please see my snapshot

CDMC how to stop an activity

Ladies & gents

 

I have executed a system check activity. This show it is still running.

I can find no place where this job is running and cannot find a place to stop this activity.

I checked background jobs, look at activities (SM66, SM50) etc.

 

Any way how to stop this activity

Hello all,

 

I am trying to configure /solman_setup for SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1

 

I am confused about this:

 

1. at system preparation > step 5.4 Set Authentification Policy for Agents > I am getting this:

I checked the certificates and all are self-signed, so I guess there is nothing to do here.

 

But when I click on Agent Administration ( also from the step 5.4)

2. from Managed system configuration > step 3 Assigned Diagostic Agents >> SLD Agent Candidates tab >> click on get agents .. I am getting the same error

 

 

P:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR")

 

 

Error      Web service invocation problem on host  and port 44300 protocol : https logical port name : LP_WS_SMDAGENT_MONITORING. Check note 1822831.

 

 

and No Diagnostics agents currently registered in SLD  on host



Can you please suggest me something? I already tried everything I found on forums for this error.


Do you think the certificate error is related with the not connected agents?

non-SAP Monitoring - status propagation for availability

Dear experts

 

I've implemented EEM and remarked, that EEM will not alert in case the robots are no longer available. In order to monitor their availability, I configured the roboters within the technical monitoring as non-SAP systems.

 

The Technical System is of type "Unspecified Cluster System" containing 4 instances (the actual robots). This leads to the following landscape within the technical monitoring (just great, I think):

The following metrics are active for host-monitoring:

  • Availability
    • SAP Host Agent Availability
    • Host Network Availability
  • Performance
    • CPU
      • CPU User Utilization
      • CPU System Utilization
      • CPU Idle (without I/O Wait)
      • CPU I/O Wait
    • Memory
      • Free Memory
      • Free Memory [%]
  • Host Exception
    • File System Free (MB)

 

As you might have remarked on the screen shot, the monitoring of the technical system just showes the "Performance" propagated from technical instance (propagated from host) but neither availability or exception.

 

Has anyone of you an idea what went wrong? Do I need additional metrics to be active in order to be able to have the availability state propagated from host to technical instance to technical system?

PS: as you also might have remarked, I've temporarly added a custom metric on technical instance for availability monitoring and alerting. This was needed for alerting using instance-names (different from host names).


ChaRM -Unable to import the changes in Production system

Dear Messrs,

 

We have implemented ChaRM for our one customer and the STMS configuration was performed using the Harmonization RFC without the concept of Domain link.

 

When we perform the testing of Urgent change and we change the status of the CD from status :"Authorized for production " to "Import urgent change to production system".

 

we are facing the below issue .

And when i checked the SLG1 and could get the below log .

Please note ,The STMS was configured with Harmonization RFC and the Domain link was not created between the domain controller and solution manager .

 

Much appreciated for your advice and guidelines for solving this issue at the earliest.

I am trying to find an answer to the question:

 

How to disable the SAP collaboration box in Sol.Man. incident.

 

Backround:

 

In our organisation not every member should have the opportunity to forward (send) an incident to SAP. Therefore, we would like to build authorization units and allocate the relevant members to the correct unit. Unfortunately we have no idea how to move on.

"Retrofit Needed" substatus appear in Project line

Hi Expert,

 

We are using Solman 7.1 & SP 10.

 

Actually issue is retrofit  needed option appear in project line."Retrofit Needed" Status is showing up for a non maintenance project .
This is not suppose to happen in project line.


Please advice how can I stop this.

Issues Applying Templates for Technical Monitoring in Solution Manager 7.1

All,

 

We are in process of setting up system monitoring for itself solution manager PRD system and as a part of this process, we have completed all configuration steps ( system,basic and managed config) but during system monitoring we encountered issue in section 6 setup monitoring for solution manager PRD <sid>~java technical instance ( red colour) .

 

Checked in Tcode SLG1 and I can see below error

 

No Introscope manager assignment found for technical systemerror.jpgerror4.JPG

 

I have verified basic steps again for Wily introscope and it is up and running, checked Tcode CCDB for extractor errors found nothing and applied note 2232341 but issue persists. We are on SP14 7.1 and using latest  CIM/CR, etc.

Unfortunately, we never experienced issue on Solman DEV box

 

Any solution ? Is it a new bug on SP14??

 

I have attached screenshots...please check and let me know if you can provide some solution.

SAP TAO Error while Automating Web SAP Portal

Hello All,
The below is our scenario. We are creating PFA's using SAP TAO 3.0.6.1 to automate the SAP Web Portal which was developed in ABAP Webdynpro. We are able to create the PFA successfully and upload it to ALM but when we run the PFA from the Test Plan in ALM, we are getting an error saying
"ERROR DETECTED * Error: -2146233088 Description: Inconsistent state - Invalid session Id - <>Source: SAPTAOTestPlayer".
Can you please suggest us what is this error, is it something related to the patch that we need to work with the Basis team?
When we do the self-check, we are facing the no errors.

Hello , I am working in sap basis and want to know how to find authorization objects (both sap defined and custom defined) used in CRM system. system monitoring issue Event metrics is not showing for production server

Dear Team,

 

We have successfully configured  R/3 production server in solution manager .

 

Following activities are completed till now.

 

1.Managed system configuration is completed successfully.

2.EWA alert configuration and technical monitoring configuration is completed successfully for R/3 production server

3.Willy interscope  installed successfully in solman server.

 

We are facing issues Technical Monitoring->system Monitoring->R/3 prd server

 

users details are showing empty(NO MATRIES SHOWING) , Please find the attached snap shot for your reference..

MPT Status show wrong in incident

Hi Expert,

 

We are using Solman 7.1 & SP10

 

What happened here,

when I have search the incident with "MPT exceeded" the result will come with "Confirmed MPT exceeded"

 

But in incident it will show "MPT warning"

...WHY???

PDF sessions created by auto running EEM Scripts

Hello All,

 

We have EEM SAPGUI scripts run by robots at different locations.

 

The script opens a PDF file and logs off successfully from the SAP system. But the PDF session/application created by the script remains as it is. It is not closed automatically when the script finishes and the user logs off from the SAP system.

 

Is there any way we can achieve this as it is creating a lot of Adobe sessions and due to some limitations in no. of sessions after certain point we start getting MESSAGE_TYPE_X dumps in the SAP system as no more PDF sessions could be created by the automatic running EEM scripts.?

How to link E-mail to existing incident

Hello everybody,

 

I try to figure out why the e-mail replies from customers are not linked to an existing incident in solution manager.

We activated the tracking ID option and considered SAP KBA 2066434.

 

Unfortunately the linking is still not working.

However, the customer reply can be seen in the inbox of the solution manager. When activating the e-mail row an info pops up: "The selected e-mail is already linked to a CRM order" (see marked in red).

 

Moreover, it would be helpful if the customer reply to an existing incident is not shown in the E-mail inbox but directly linked to the incident.

I would appreciate any helpful hints why the automated linking of e-mail replies to incident is not working properly.
