Hi Experts,

I am getting following error when i open the Config Tool  I want to that do i need to change the Config file please find it listed

What roles need to use Visual Administrator

Hi all,

 

After create a new user I want to give him rights to use Visual Administrator. But I can not find info about this.

Also i can't give him SAP_J2EE_ADMIN role by security reason. May be admin's role but for reading only or any other roles only for reading.

POPUP box window too small

Hi Team,

 

We are using Solution Manager 7.1 SP 10,

My question is related to POPUP window box like every time I select the drop down for the components field in the scope section, it keeps resizing the popup window very small with every action I take (for instance, I resize to make the popup bigger, but when I hit the enter key, it automatically resizes back to being small.

 

Please guide me.

Hi Experts,

 

We are using Solution Manager 7.1 SP 10

 

We recognized that whenever a CD is set to be tested, unnecessary ToCs are created. The ToCs in this process are needed to facilitate the automatic retrofit. However, only one ToC is needed there. We saw that the system creates more than that. These ToCs are then just left in the Import queue of Development system without being imported.

 

If they would be imported accidentally we could potentially downgrade objects/config in Development system.

 

An example is transport DE7K900196. For this transport, 3 ToCs - DE7K900430, DE7K900431 and DE7K900432 - were created. Eventually only DE7K900432 was imported to DE1 to perform the retrofit.

 

Please guide me how we can solve this.

SLM SP16 upgrade stop at Import phase 'PREPARE_XPRA'

Hi

 

I am facing error when i am going to upgrade sp16 in solution manager queue stop at 'PREPARE_XPRA' phase
with this error " DB inconsistent: file attributes for SAPK-S7220INCTSPLGN not found"

or
WARNING: TA SAPK-S7220INCTSPLGN not found via index, reading whole buffer.

 

Please if someone has same issue and resolved it kindly share the solution.

Enterprise manager show offline SOLMAN

I am configuring the SOLMAN  I added the Wilys enterprise Manager  its working fine  , i am able to login to it  but it shows offline in SOLMAN how to solve the problem please find the Screen shot attached herewith

What User Authentication for EEM Scripts (HTTP and SAPGUI/DIAG)

Hi,

 

i have the requirement to implement the simplest available measure to avoid sending passwords for user via standard DIAG or HTTP as part of the EEM Scripts. So either they are encrypted or the solution avoids sending password at all. Solution should be same for both protocols. The EEM Robot are supposed to run on Win 2012 64-bit, (2008 32-bit could be an exception).

 

Certificate (X.509) based authentications seems to be the most complex. Does it work for SAPGUI/DIAG access to ABAP Application Server and for Webbrowser Access to WebDynpro ABAP and Java Application with EEM in the same way?

 

FAQ mention Windows NT LAN Manager (NTLM) Authentication. Does it work for both SAPGUI/DIAG and HTTP? It seems to be a outdated implementation as while its recommended by SAP docu - outside the EEM space - to use "Kerberos for SAP GUI Authentication for system environments consisting of Microsoft Windows 2000 and higher"

 

SAP Single Sign-On 2.0 supports for Secure Login the Windows-based Kerberos tickets that authenticates users into the SAP software through a Webbrowser or Windows-based SAP GUI.

It that supported with EEM Scripts? Will it work?

 

Any experiences made, which could help on this?

ChaRM- RFC created ,template user change manager approves RFC ,CD not getting generated

Dear All ,

 

We are facing an issue in SolMan 7.1 ,Charm configuration during the testing scenario with respect to the standard template user .

The requester creates the  RFC and Once change manager validate the RFC after including the project and scope of the RFC and when release the RFC in status :"release for development " the CD is not getting generated with respect to the change manager template user.

 

And below are the list of roles currently assigned to the standard template user:CH_CM_SID

where as when i tried to approve the RFC using the SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profile user the CD is getting generated for the same .

Please help us with a solution that will help us for solving this missing authorization for the change manager in approving the RFC.

Change Management tab is not available in ChaRM Project

Hello Experts,

 

Need your help.

 

I need to perform some configuration and for that I am working on Sandbox system.
Now the problem is, Change Management tab is not available in my Project (in Solar_Project_admin). Please find attachment.

 

I have created a new Project as well but got the same issue. Even in newly created project, Change Management tab is not available.

 

Can you please help me in this?
Can you please tell me what could be the reason behind it?

can we change demo system to prd system

But in sytem type it is showing demo system .

can we change system type as prd server?

What roles need to use JAVA System configuration

Hi all,

 

I need to create a new user for reading configuration parameters in my Java stack with 7.30 version. I can't use visual admin, so i'm using NWA.

What roles i  have to give him?

I tried to create a new role and assign tc~lm~itsam~ui~cfg_props~wd action, but it didn't help me.

You can JAVA system configuration here:

Go to ip:port/nwa -> Configuration -> Infrastruture -> Java System properties

or just use this url: ip:port/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/tc~lm~itsam~ui~mainframe~wd/FloorPlanApp?applicationID=com.sap.itsam.cfg.java.systemproperties&applicationViewID=systemproperties

Solution Manager components higher than expected

Hi guys.

Weirdest thing in the world...

2 weeks ago I have installed Solman from the beginning.

I have used latest installation package and installed latest SP level via SUM, that is SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 Support Package Stack 14.

 

Now when I am connecting my SAP instances via Managed System Configuration in the Check Prerequisites tab i get this:

 

 

Can I downgrade a SPS? I doubt it...

And how to read message about ISAGENT?

 

Any ideas?

Update Content

Hi All,

 

I've recently updated Solution Manager to 7.1 SPS14 but when I try to update the content section 2.7 of Technical Monitoring I get an error

 

Error while extracting file STCONT10016_0-10011958.SAR; download not possible,error code 16-SAPCAR: Error category    >LOGGABLE_WARNING<

 

I even tried doing this manually using this blog How to Manually Update the Technical Monitoring Content

 

But get the same error!

 

Any idea what might be causing this and how do I correct it?

Connect SLD of various system to a SOLMAN 7.1

Hello gurus!

 

I have a mission, connect the landscape of my customer to our SOLMAN 7.1 via LMDB, because we will configure a ITSM and needs the customer landscape information to open the tickets to us.

 

I have some doubts about this configuration.

 

I see in this link Agent Data in the SAP Solution Manager LMDB that needs to install the Diagnost Agents and SAP Host Agent in each server, this is correct? After install the DAA in each server i need to connect to the SOLMAN's customer each DAA via SOLMAN_SETUP?

 

I was thinking to use the SOLMAN of the customer, synchronize all systems to the SOLMAN of the customer and after synchronize the SOLMAN's customer to our SOLMAN. This is a valid strategy?

 

And about create the RFC's using the SAPROUTER string. I need to release some port in the customer firewall? Or i need to configure the SAPROUTTAB in the customer side or my side?

Error 400 in http//host:50000/sld/ds

Hi Experts

 

We are trying to perform a task with the ds (data supplier) in our sld, but we are experiencing some trouble, we get a 400 error.

 

We can reach

 

http://cassiopeia:50000/sld

We perform the nest task in order to solve the issue

 

- In our pc (client) we delate the cookies from cassiopeia

- We check our Willy Introscope 9.5 (works fine)

- We perform a check of the SLD_DataSupplier (loged on nwa) and we perform the test

  connection with a ok result.

Transaction could not be updated from SAP when click "update from SAP" in Solman VAR

Dear Experts,

 

I have raised OSS message to SAP using Solman VAR.

Then, I want to click "update from SAP" to see whether there is any reply from SAP or not.

When I click "update from SAP", I encounter below error:

 

"The transaction could not be updated from SAP"

 

Details:

 

-Working RFC destination to SAP (normally SAP-OSS) => OK

-Your user is mapped to a valid S-User in transaction AISUSER => OK

 

 

Please help.
