SLA dates are not calculated automatically

Hi,

 

Indicators for response profile is priority. When transaction create, service and response profile  assign automatically at SLA assignment block.

SLA dates aren't calculated when transaction save. If select 'Edit' mode and change priority, SLA dates are calculated.

 

How do I make this calculation transaction being recorded for the first time?

error occurred in phase PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION while doing solman Update SP05 to SP14 throuhg SUM

Dear Experts,

 

I am updating SP05 to SP14 in Solution Manager through latest SUM.

 

Getting below error at PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION

 

       Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION!

 

Last error code set: Disassembling patch queue failed rc = 3, reason = 'Error when creating cofile for transport request SAPK-100AHINUIINFRA' If you put new packages in the download directory, use option 'init' to upload them

 

I already given full permission to below folders :


Error attached.

 

E:\usr\sap\trans

H:\Dump\SUMSOL

 

But still no luck. Please suggest.

 

Platform details :

 

OS - Windows 2012 R2

DB - 11.2.0.3

Solman - Solution Manager 7.1 SR1

Badis for Service Desk

All,

 

When we go in Edit mode for an Incident in Service Desk and if we change anything in Support Team, Incident Processor and Reported By....then it triggers an email.

 

We have a requirement wherein, we have to suppress the email.

 

Does anyone know about Badis that can be used for this.

Message Processor cannot be deleted

Hi Expert,

I am new in Solman, We are using Solman7.1 SP10.

What happens one consultant who is not belong to Solman team but he is enter in incident and created the RFC from that incident and also delete the Message processor field .

So my questions are :-

1)where we can change the setting or restriction like no one can delete the message processor name.

2)where we can set the setting like only the support team member will create the RFC from the incident.

 

Please guide me its very urgent.

Error Custom Code Management Setup in Part 7 Schedule Collector Jobs

Dear SAP Experts,

 

I have problem with setup CCLM in our solman system (ST 710 SP 13). the managed system is ECC 6 EHP 6.

I just configure from solman side from solman workcenter in custom code management menu.

There are errors when setup custom code in part 7. with details below:

 

Library Definition (yellow rated):

Schedule Collector Jobs (red rated):

 

SM_CCL:OBJ_ job was ended with error below when it run based on schedule, but i was ended completely when ATC framework was unticked (step 6.2).

Test Management in Solution Manager 7.1

I am very new to Solution Manager 7.1, i have been assigned a task for Solution manager Testing( i am not sure if i am using the correct term). Please let me know if i can get a step by step document for phases involved in Solution manager testing, or any RKT which helps me understand it better. I have gone through many Pdf's but still searching for something which gives me full end to end phases and steps for Solution manager testing. Please share links to videos or PDF's

How to use distribution list with ppf action?

Hello,

 

 

 

I created a distribution list with multiple recipients (E-Mail addresses, type: internet address) and I want the action ZMIN_STD_MAIL_SUPPORTTEAM to send the smart form document to all recipients in the list.

 

 

 

In TC: crmc_action_conf in tab processing details I chose recipient type: distribution list and entered the name of the list in the address field, but not a single mail is being created (checked in TC SOST).

 

 

 

In TC SLG1 I don't get any errors? What am I missing?

Workcenter Technical Monitoring with Nagios ?

Dear Solution Manager Community,

I need to raise a question as I was not able to find any related Information on this topic and fear that there is none as it is not an option in Solution Manager. The Intention is to run the Solution Manager with as many Scenarios as possible in order to make use of the Integration and reporting Options provided. Therefore as well the Technical Monitoring should be run on Solution Manager. As there is a Nagios solution in place which provides pretty much what is required (except the SolMan Integration) a setup from scratch in Solution Manager seems to be costly and time intensive. So the idea came up what if Nagios could deliver into the Solution Manager "pretending" it was the Agent and Extractor Infrastructure? Is there anyone having experience with such approach? Did you ever hear of an Interface Framework available for such?

Service Desk e-mail notifications

Hi all,

 

Currently I am configuring VAR SolMan and faced issue with email notifications functionality. Support team need to receive email notification about new ZMIV incidents are creeated in system.

 

I configured Support team determination with BRFplus tool. Also I maintained Action Profile for "ZMIV_VAR" and Condition Configuration for "Incident Management Message for VAR".

 

Also, I maintained email binding in BP transaction for 1st Level Support team.

 

However, anyway no emails are sending for support team. Even there are no records about transmission requests in SOST transaction.

Hi All,

 

Pl help me to implement Badi for add-in CRM_SLADET_BADI  for SLA determination for multiple support team with respective service & response profile auto detect.

 

By default mentioned service & response profile  in COMMPR01 is detective perfectly while any user creating the notification from Production server.

 

It will be really helpful if anyone have done this to pl share the doc with screen.

Hi,

 

We use incident (ZMIV) transaction type in the process. This transaction type has partner schema (ZMIV0001). This schema has SLFN0004 partner function. Partner function’s Access sequence is badi (COM_PARTNER_BADI/ method: DETERMINATION_ADD_IN_1). With this badi assign SLFN0004 partner function at ZMIV transaction type. End users select multi level categorization in ZMIV and save ZMIV. With that we assign SLFN0004 partner function. But, if end users want to change this multi-level categorization, partner function can be also assign. For this, ı want to twice debugger in COM_PARTNER_BADI/ DETERMINATION_ADD_IN_1. It will not be possible.

Technical Monitoring for NON-SAP Sybase IQ

Dear Solman Gurus,

 

We want to activate Technical Monitoring (E2E, email notification, metrics) for NON-SAP Sybase IQ 16.0.

 

There is no any SAP Installation on SYBASE IQ on its server. So how do we send Sybase IQ sld to Solman ? Normally we are using it via RZ70 for ABAP and SLD_Datasupplier for Java system.

 

We are planning to take Notifications (E2E) from SYBASE IQ if it is from our Solution Manager system.

 

Do we need to install Diagnostic Agent on SYBASE IQ NON-SAP Server ?

 

By the way our version is Solution Manager 7.1 SP13.

Hi experts, i have a cuestion, we implemented solman 7.1 sp12 to support customers(var scenario), we are not basis consultants(we are BO and data services consultants) so we do not know too much about solman(and basis). The incident management it's alredy working , however, the mail notification functionality isn´t.

 

We gave our message reporters and message proccesor users the roles recomended by sap for the var scenario, however when we select a ticket and then "send mail", we get the message: DetailsYou have no authorization to execute action Create for the document.

 

If we use  a user with sap_all , the"send mail" windows opens normally(and the mail can be send). Can you help me telling me which roles do i have to give to the users in order tto send mails?

 

Also, the mails are sent with the sap_all role, but only manually, we cant send mails automatically and we alredy configured the actions in CRMC_ACTION_DEF

 

Does anybody has a guide for mail notification configuration and authorizations?

Copy of Solution through a report

I want to Copy a Solution through a report.

 

The Solution which i am trying to copy is a big one and results in connection time out.

 

Kindly let me know if there are any reports available to copy a solution so that i will schedule as background job.

Set Default Value in CRM UI search

Hi,

 

We have many transaction types for Incidents like ZMIN, YMIN ..etc. and value for one of them e.g. ZMIN should appear by default in the CRM UI search.

 

Please help me with steps how this can be done.

How to stop copying of ChaRM CD

Hi,

 

We have implemented ChaRM in Solman 7.1 Support Pack 13. We have restricted user authorization in ChaRM CDs via authorization object B_USERSTAT.

But we have a requirement that the users will not be able to copy ChaRM CDs. Does anyone have any idea of how to stop copy of Change documents in ChaRM.

RFC does not approved without CD

Hi ChaRM Expert,

 

We are using Solution Manager 7.1 SP 10.

 

RFC is stuck due to no Document type in Scope assignment block and the status is "Approved".

 

So,I just want to know where we can do the restriction like no one can approved the RFC without Document type.

 

Please suggest me the standard process or is it any bug.

BPMon Alerts- Graphical view

Hi,

 

I have configured the Monitoring Objects & now getting Alerts in Alert Inbox.

 

I want to know where exactly I need to check to see the alerts in the Graphical process flow. is it in Component view only ? OR any other option to check in Graphical view
