1.- When I press Reply button from customer's interface and add some text, the message do not change its status to In Process.
2.- I read this but still not work.

i am configuring technical monitoring for web dispatcher, i have installed SMD Agent in system and also i manually added system into Solution Manager but SMD Agent not able to communicate Web-Dispatcher, SMD Agent service on port 50013 but there is not service on dispatcher with this port.

Recently in a test server, some disks crashed and we couldnt restart instance. Since we could take a backup we proceeded to reinstall Windows and execute a system copy
When using SWPM and selecting Target system installation, choose Backup/Restore method but if the following screens it requested Java Migration Export.
Since system crashed we couldnt access system again to perform a Java Export
My main concern, is why a Java Export in mandatory for a System Copy using SQL Tools.
In case you only have a backup, how can you reconstruct a crashed Solution Manager system without a Java Migration?
Hi Experts,
We have 17 ZMCR (Request for change) stuck at APPROVED status after completing the Urgent changes. I ran report CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT and tried options "in processing" and "Next status" but these 17 ZMCR documents status is not moving anywhere.
I was able to correct other ZMCR's and successfully confirmed it.
I also ran Z report which removes system errors but there is no error for these ZMCR as well.
I also tried from Transaction Analyzer but it shows only "APPROVED" option to select.
How should I move the status to confirmed for these hanging ZMCR's ?

I'm having a hard time getting a system of ours to pop up in SAP's new Maintenance Planner application. I've successfully synchronized SLD data with SAP Support Portal and can see all the installed components and other useful information in SAP Support Portal. However, in Maintenance Planner nothing shows up. Are there any special steps in SOLMAN_SETUP that I have to do in order for me to get system data into Maintenance Planner aswell? I am starting to run out of ideas at this point.

I have noticed that for each BPMon MAI MO there is the ability to create a Custom Description, which seems to be quite usefull in the Notification via Email to place custom descrition into you Email Notifications. I also found that it allows adding URLs into te custom description which again is great. I know exactly where to select that this custom description into the Notification (emial) and Incident.
Now, a customer has the requirement that in the incident there is the same custom descriptions with URL, but the Custom Description box information when placed into the Text Assinment Block in the Incident does not get converted properly.
ex:
In the email notificstion it appears as follows:
Alert Details in Satellite System - <where this is a hyperlink to alert details i broke the link to protect security>

The entry box for Custom description obviously is a html editor, it then seems like in the Incident the html is not converted correctly, howver if it is allowed to select Custom Descriptions into auto-incident creation as a standard, surely it should display correctly in the resultant incident text assignment block?
I have scoured the Marketplace and web in general not finding any reference or help.
Please if anyone can assist it would be highly appreciated and points awarded.

I want to send an E-Mail to the SAP SolMan (support e-mail address) so that it shows up in the inbox of the crm ui. I executed the steps in the following guide:
After sending the e-mail TC: SWI1 is showing the following. So far, so good.
The problem is that I have to manually execute the task TS00207914, because its status is "READY". As far as I know this is happening because the task is a dialog step and I want it to run automatically in the background.
When opening TS00207914 in TC: PFTC you can see that method DONOTHING and objecttype ERMSSUPRT2 is used (as mentioned in the guide). But the method has the dialogbox checked and you cannot uncheck it.
I already tried using objecttype ERMSSUPRT, because there the dialog checkbox of method DONOTHING is not checked, but then I didnt recieved any e-mails in the CRM UI at all.
What am I missing here?

We've recently updated our Solman system to 7.1 SP13 finally and I'm having a bit of trouble configuring systems that don't require diagnostics agents at this time.
Under the Assign Product step it states under task 3 :-
Set Diagnostics-Relevance
- If you are not using Diagnostics: To avoid follow-up activities, such as setup of Diagnostics agents, do not set Diagnostics-relevance. The status of the activity can remain 'Diagnostics-relevance not set' (red).
But for us we see "Diagnostics-relevance not defined; see help tray" and when we move on to step 2 Check Prerequisites it errors doing both Perform Diagnostics Agents Assignment and Check Diagnostics Agent.
So it would seem that even though we've stated this ABAP system is not diagnostics relevant it still tries to complete those tasks and obviously fails.
Likewise Step 4 Diagnostics Agent is offline, Step 5 Maintain Users SMDAGENT not required. Step 6 Finalize Configuration Errors due to diagnostics specific activities. And then Step 7 fails checking configuration.
So what gives here, am I missing something obvious? I need to be able to set Downtime Management (Work Mode Management as it's called now) for one of these systems but because of the failed Systems Configuration they don't appear as a system in the list.
Any suggestions?

I tried to add SAP IDM for monitoring but in Solution Manager 7.1 SP 12, we dont have any Monitoring Template for SAP IDM like which can monitor IDM Dispatchers in SP12
I found in Solman 7.1 SP 12 have a monitoring template which monitors IDM UIs installed on SAP Netweaver 7.3
Is there any new template added to monitor SAP IDM like dispatchers in SolMan 7.1 SP 14 ??

i discovered this error on most (or all?) of our doublestack Systems. (CRM, Solution Manager)
Duser.timezone is not explicitely set in the instance.properties of the Java instance.
According to note 1776969 timezone of smd Agent should be set in smdagent.properties tp the same value.
So I tried to either delete the timezone Setting from smdagent.properties, or set it to GMT (as some Kind of "Standard" time), or CET (as is the System time Zone in STZAC). But no matter how: There is always the same error.
And Yes: SM_COLL_<SID> is not locked and has sufficient privileges for this.
Has anyone this configuration up and running without Errors?

there is a "RFC Load from External System" report in RCA -> Workload Analysis -> <SID> Application Server ABAP -> RFC -> RFC Load from External System. When i start the report, there is a "Initial system" as a first column, but it is also possible to drilldown to "Caller System ID" column (among of others). Does anybody know, what the "Initial system" and "Caller System ID" means? Because of the report name i would say, that one of these characteristics is source and the other is destination system of RFC call. Is that right? Which one is which?
I could not find any documentation describing closer the report. Is there any?
