we have an issue with counting Service Availability.
After SP13 update on SolMan 7.1 we not able to see unplanned outages anymore and it was OK before update.
All configuration performed according with http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm71_sp12/helpdata/en/36/bcc8be763c40039f54dfcd5cf4fff3/content.htm
WMM can reflect planned outages in SAM
Could you please assist us to understand the reason of the issue?

We are facing an issue with Request for change not allowing us to release for development. There is no problem with other change requests
The change request contains another urgent change which has been completed. Requirement was to extend scope of the change request which is having issue. I tested in non production charm and the same scenario worked and I was able to release for development.
1. Extended scope
2. Inserted scope "another urgent change"
3. Estimation
4. Releases for approval
5. Approved
6. Set to development --> Error status shows implemented when we go to edit mode
I have tried to forcefully change the status but that is also not working as it goes into backward status like in process/extend scope. I also checked there is no system error in the report.

Hi all,
I am completely stumped. We just upgraded from Solman 7.1 SP07 to SP13. Before the upgrade, we would specify a transport in a change document (normal/urgent/admin) in Charm, click on the task list transaction ID of the maintenance project cycle, it would bring up t-code SCMA in Solman, we would schedule "import transport request (background)", and it would only import that transport. Now it imports everything in the DEV TMS queue.
The import parameters of the background job before the patch used to specify "transport request" but now it shows "project". Please see the attached files.
Any ideas?

Hi all,
We're updating SAP Solution Manager from SP03 to SP13 and, after SOLMAN_SETUP and all post instalation checks, the field "Project" in the transactions forms is not active. It must be active to allow users to select the correspondent project.
Could someone please help me to make it active?

ALL Transports are getting re-imported when status changing from unit test completed to In development and when again unit test completed to Being developmento In dev. --Urgent change
But for the same project and urgent change -its not all transports are getting re-imported when status changed

I'm new to solution manager, my requirement is to create new fields in charm for solution manager. By mistakenly i deleted one existing field(Field name-process Decomposition) in screen level( AIC_CMCR_H). But the field is deleted in data base level, structures and other programs also. Now is it possible to revert back the field or can i create the new field with same field with old field ID. please guide me and help me out of this issue.

Hi All,
During a clean up activity the IBASE component was deleted by mistake , there was another entry available .But the deleted entry was associated with an ACTIVE project with almost 300 change documents in progress .Charm check looks green for the project but the IBASE does not populate with new requests and when selected manually under scope item it appears but we are UNABLE to GENERATE the CHANGE DOCUMENTS.
None of the actions on the change documents are working . Processing Logs show the method processed but Change document status remains unchanged
Already performed steps :
REREAD SYSTEM DATA in SMSY
REFRESHED the logical component
CHARM CHECK appears all OK
-No error's
Closed MAINTENANCE cycle and recreated new maintenance cycle .
Maintenance cycle tasklist looks good but URGENT Correction TASKLIST's are not working
Performed clearing inconsistent cycle for the project .
We are using Solution Manager 7.1 SP12 .
Inputs on how to resolve the error will be much appreciated .

I am up with a task where in I need to perform OS/DB migration of Solution Manager 7.1 from AIX/DB2 --> WINTEL 2012 R2/MSSQL.
In the Source Solman system we have below things configured.
EWA, MOPZ, Managed System Preparation and Technical Monitoring.We will perform the migration by Export/Import method.
The data centre of the source and target Solman system is different and the same is the case with the managed systems which are also getting migrated along with. Monitoring set-up for these new migrated system needs to be configured.
Could you please suggest if the effort required in this project would be less than If I would have gone with a new build of Solman Instead of doing Export/Import.
Also what all clean up steps I need to perform for removing the configuration of old systems and hosts.
Can I get the benefit by using source export in the System Preparation and Basic Configuration step.
Hi SAP Test management gurus,
I am having troubles trying to view screen shots in a CBTA composite scripts execution reports.
If a single script is run - it produces HTML type report and screen shot can be viewed with no problems.
But the composite script always creates a SAPGUI tree-type execution report and even though the "Image Capture" action is shown in the report - there seem to be no way to retrieve this image:
I remember seeing on TechEd recently the presenter switched to somewhere from the SAPGUI report to see the image, but I did not catch how he did it and forgot to ask later.
Can anyone help me get the screen image extracted ?

I am facing an annoying problem with the Solution Manager that I work with.
After there was a SPS upgrade from version 10 to 13, people are receiving EWA reports from systems that they were not configured for.
For example my email was configured to receive EWA reports for systems 1,2 and 3, and now I receive EWA reports also for systems 4,5 and 6.
I removed my email from Solution Manager for EWA reports and I still receive EWA reports for random systems.
Any thought for this? 
First I though to remove all emails and reconfigure them,but if I still receive EWA reports despite removing my email,it would be pointless.
Please let me know your thoughts about this. Thank you.

I try to use the "Master Guide" to find the step of installation,but fail.
I use the URL http://support.sap.com/software/installations.html to find the software of solution manager.
And i can see many software files.( Please refer to the attachment )
Then i download all files,but i do not know how to install these files.
For example, the file "51044827" include the SQL4SAP_docu.pdf. The PDF can teach me how to install it, this is ok. But when i unzip the "51042609", it show many files and no include any installation guide, i do know how to use it or maybe i do not need to use it.
Please kindly provide me the Guide link or URL or any kind of way to guide me how to use these download files and the priority order of installation and the function of these download files.

Have any of you achieved maintaining pre filled description box text area while creating incident as an end user in ITSM. For example, create incident guided procedure has Description text box in the first step where users are supposed to enter the description of incident. But in real world scenarios most of the incidents turn out to be junk because no clear information is available for support staff to handle the incident. How about a provision for something like this below where some texts are pre filled and available to all end users?

We are getting below error when select test connection SLDAPICUST and the user is SLDDSUSER.
Error:
An exception has occurred:
System error: Server repository could not create function template for 'SLDJAVA_ACCESSOR_REQUE
Connection to SLD does not work
And also the User ID:SLDDSUSER in Solution Manager getting locked frequently.

Hi experts,
in IT Performance reporting I would like to analyze the growing of our DBs.
HOwever, in Capacity->Database I can not see any data.
Does anybody know the reason for this or what I have to activate for this?
I couldn't find a suitable metric in Technical Monitoring, regarding size/growth.
