Does CBTA supports SAP Netweaver Business Client (NWBC)

Hi All,

 

I am having a requirement from my client. The clients want to know does CBTA supports NWBC (NetWeaver Business Client). My clients uses NWBC as standard-GUI (general user interface) for every SAP-system like ECC, SRM, SCM CRM, SolMan, eWM, BI, HCM, … etc.

BC Set in Solman

Hello Experts,

 

Can someone guide me on How to use BC sets through Solman 'solar02' configuration tab as i came to know that -

A Business Configuration set (BC Set) is a management tool that allows users to record, save and share customized settings. Customers can either use BC sets provided by SAP (for select industries) or create their own.

I gone through several links but not able to understand exactly that how i am going to record ,save and share customized settings for Business scenarios ,processes and process steps.??

 

Please Guide me.

SP10 Urgent/Normal Correction bug in Landscape Tab

Fellow Members,

 

I stumbled upon a strange issue in Landscape Tab of Change Document (Normal/Urgent) in SP10. When I have the retrofit system (Post Processing System) in the project; the Transport Status shows incorrect when the actual transport is done. For example XPL 250 is my Retrofit system, when I create a Urgent Change and import it to QAS system (XPL 200) the Transport status for XPL 250 system too shows "Imported" as seen below;

The actual TMS track is XPL 100 > XPL 200 > XPL 300 >XPL 400 and XPL 250 is Retrofit system.

 

If I dig into TMS import log of the TR i find it never got imported into XPL 250 (Post Processing System). Then why I am seeing in landscape Tab as imported?

Problems on closing and editing messages - Solman 7.1

Hello Sap Solution experts,

 

I have a requirement concerning the status of messages, together with the possibility to modify the documents. The issue is:

 

Firstly I must be able to close the message (i.e. Status: Close). The problem is when I put Allowed or Warning, I can close the message, but I am still able to modify the message after the message has been closed.

 

My requirement is to be able to close the message and not to be able to modify it once it is closed.

 

 

The screenshot below is the place where the actions are done:

RBPD project update

Hi,

 

I have below query on RBPD.

 

I have created a Project manually in solar_project_admin  & maintained the Business Scenarios, Processes & steps manually in solar01.even I uploaded all the documents for respective nodes.

 

Now for same managed system I want to Run RBPD, but I dont want to create new project based on RBPD analysis. I want to use the existing project only. Is it possible.

 

Is it possible to use the existing Bluprint project to update with RBPD analysis.

"User Not in validity period" in Managed System Configuration - Create Users (Java)

The basic error is that during Managed System Configuration of the Java stack of my Solution Manager system -- and for any Java system, for that matter -- in Step 6 "Create Users" I have a persistent error status of "User Not in validity period" for the SAPSUPPORT user.  The user already exists, because it was created successfully during the ABAP portion of the Managed System Config.  Furthermore, the "Update Existing User" action did successfully assign the three Java roles (SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_CENTRAL_READONLY, SAP_JAVA_SUPPORT, and SAP-J2EE-ENGINE.SAP_JAVA_SUPPORT).  I have confirmed that the SAPSUPPORT user, the SOLMAN_ADMIN user, my own user account, and every other possibly relevant service user account I can think of is active, valid, not locked, etc.  Yet, still I cannot get past this error.

 

This is a SolMan 7.1 sps10 system, so the corrections from Notes 1748202 and/or 1684720 are already in place.  Furthermore, I have already created a role with Spml_Read_Action and Spml_Write_Action and assigned it to my own user and SOLMAN_ADMIN, as described in Note 1647157.  Every discussion thread or Note I've found in searching indicates these should solve the problem, but I still have the problem.

 

So, has anyone run into this and resolved it?  Or have ideas of where else to look for the mysterious validity period?

Requirements

 

  • You have performed the activity SSO Setup.
  • If you run your SAP BW system on a separate client/system, you have performed activity Create RFC to BW.
  • The SAP_SM_BASIC_SETTINGS role is assigned to the user who performs the setup.
  • If you run your SAP BW system on a separate client/system, the SAP_SM_BASIC_SETTINGS role is assinged to the RFC user.
  • The RFC connection between your SAP Solution Manager system and SAP BW system is established.

Activities

You cannot perform this activity manually.

Performing the activity automatically, the following changes are made to your system:

 

  • In the extractor framework, the 0SM_CUP - Customer Usage entries are generated based on BI content cubes.
  • The system performs a scheduling for data extraction. The extracted data is serialized into XML structures, encrypted and transferred to SAP global support backbone. This data is analyzed and helps SAP to understand the customer’s situation and provide better service and support.

How to display a survey after incident message closed

Hello gurus,

I created a survey in CRM_SURVEY_SUITE.

I do not know how to make the survey display after incident messages has status "closed" and where can I see the results.

I searched in the web for an appropriate information, but I could not find any information or guide on how to do it.

If you know how to do it or find a documentation on how to resolve my issue, please advise me.

LMDB-SLD sync Issue

Hi,

When I am trying to Resync. technical system data from SLD , am able to sync for Satellite system data. But for Solman system getting errors as...

TBOM: Business processes identification with reference of transaction code using the TBOM

Hi Experts,

 

I am new to SAP solution manager. We have 10 business process having the different SD cycles

( 1. Business process: Contract--> Order--> Delivery--> Invoice.

  2. Business process: Order--> Delivery--> Invoice. Likewise other business processes have different cycles).

 

 

When we filter in TBOM for particular transaction code(example: VF01) the all business processes, which are containing transaction code VF01 should display for automatic execution.

 

Please give your valuable solution for the same.

Population of response profile values incorrect

Dear Solution Manager experts,

 

I have been configuring the SLA part of the Incident Management Solution Manager 7.1. SP10.

Everything works fine, except:

 

My Response Profile where I store durations SRV_RR_DURA and SRV_RF_DURA is getting populated to the Incident Message only partly.

In the message I can see the value (in minutes) from my SRV_RR_DURA (Duration Until Service End) and this is correct. Nevertheless duration that I store in SRV_RR_DURA for the same Response Profile is not getting populated and I get the default SAP value 8 HOUR.

 

I have checked and the whole configuration seem perfectly fine. I have based my SLA Determination on Service Product and I assigned my Service and Response Profiles to the Service Product INVESTIGATION.

 

In addition, in my Date Profile I have removed all the Default durations, but I didn't help (yes, it was a desperate try). If both duration values were not populated, than I would jump to the conclusion that something is wrong with the Response Profile Determination. But if half of it works fine, there must be something else.

 

 

If anybody is interested, I can share my solutions to some of the problems that I noticed while searching this forum (e.g. how to get the First Reaction Timestamp in the message and similar). As I can see, there is lack of relevant guides and all the missing information I tried to figure out myself since there is nobody to ask in my place.

Logon to the spcified tranaction from Alert inbox

Hello,

 

I am setting up the monitoring on Solman 7.1 SP10 / Sybase 15.7 for an ERP system.

 

In the workcenter alet Inbox when i click on the Managed object of the alert ,i am directed to the welcome page of the Managed system.

 

Is it possible to confgure the system so that the redirecteion would be done to the transaction specified in the aAlert instaead of the welcome page (for the short dump in the case below it should be ST22)?

Hi,
I can able to establish a connection between SOLMAN to SRM PRD,PI PRD.But i cant in ECC PRD. There is no restriction via firewall,port etc. apart from this where can we check.
Action Taken:
1) User having SAP_ALL
2) user having auth like S_RFCACL
3) changed the parameter like gw/acl_mode.

How to use Retrofit during an Upgrade project?

Hi Expert,

we are going to start an upgrade project of our ERP 6.0 system from EHP4 to EHP6 and I'm interested to know if I can use retrofit in order to manage in a structured way the double maintenance during the transition period of the project. My goal is to retrofit the TR created in the maintenance landscape (ERP 6.0 EHP4) to the upgraded development system (ERP 6.0 EHP6). By reading the documentation available in sdn and in the SAP help it seems that this should be feasible but I didn't find a clear statement about the feasibility of this approach. Can any one tell me if retrofit can be used in upgrade project as previously described?

SOLMAN_SETUP error in step Create IBase Components for SMSY Systems

Hi All,

 

I am in process of Basic Configuration in Solution Manager 7.1 SP08. the Tab 7 Maintain System in IBase the below two steps

 

Create IBase Components for SMSY Systems

Create IBase Components for LMDB Systems

 

Show an error.

 

For "Create IBase Components for SMSY Systems" it throws an error as "No Business partner of type organization for customer number XXXXX"

 

The summary of the step Create IBase Components for SMSY Systems is as below

 

IBase '1' already exists - Ext. ID 'SOL_MAN_DATA_REP'

IBase component '3362' created - ID. '0000XXXXXX'

No business partner of type organization for customer number XXXXXX


For Create IBase Components for LMDB Systems it has been said that

Activity "Create IBase Components for SMSY Systems" has to finish before this activity. So this should be okay when we execute the SMSY step.

 

Could any one please advice on this.

EEM - SAPGUI scripting is not able to enable

Hi everyone,

 

   I implemented EEM funcionality in SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP10. I have done all necesary steps (I think so) but I can't activate the SAPGUI option in the step call "configure EEM robots" and so also in the step call "Distribute Script".  Anyone can help me?

 

I checked the next steps:

 

  • Installed SMD Agent in the end user host
  • Installed SAPGUI in the end user host
  • Set TRUE the parameter sapgui/user_scripting
  • Add the user SAPService<SMD_SID> to the administrator group
  • SAPGUI Scripting is installed
  • Run the EEM configuration (completed)

CCMS sending old alerts following a system restart

We are having the problem of old ccms alerts being sent again following the system restart after our monthly Windows updates.  We are on Solman 7.1, kernel 720 Rel 40, and using Solman as the CEN for our central monitoring.  Sometimes it has repeated alerts that are 2 weeks old, most recently it was alerts from two days prior.  These alerts are set up with autoreaction methods to email someone, and so emails are being sent for the old alerts.  Has anyone seen this before or know how to prevent this?  Thanks.

external connections via saprouter

Dear all,

 

I just configured a saprouter on a client and it´s working I tested from inside the LAN (telnet to IP and port) but when I tried to connect from home via SAP-GUI I got these error, can someone tell me why? I looks like my firewall is blocking it or not, please check the error details on the screen shot.
