How to use Screen component DO -LOOP in CBTA test script
Sir
We have installed CBTA 3.0 SP1 is aligned with ST-TST 300 SP1 and Solution Manager ST 7.1 SP8 .
I have created test script for tcode VT01N. To pass multiple outbound deliveries in Outbound delivery selection screen,
can I use DO-LOOP screen components? . It possibile can any one provide sample testscript using these screen components

Agent Unavailable -- Not able to connect to Solution Manager
Hi Team,
While installing Diagnostic Agent on System below are the issues i have come across, And this is for first time i have seen such behaviour of any System.
1. While Assign SLD step and Connect to Solution Manager steps in SWPM, it was not accepting the hostname(I use to get error message hostname could not be reached, wherein the host name assigned was absolutely correct). Then Proceeded in this steps by assigning IP Addresses.
2. While connecting DAA to Solution Manager Step, DAA was not getting connected to Solution Manager via SWPM steps.
3. Some how DAA was installed. Then I came to connect DAA step in System Preparation, I checked DAA installed appears in SLD list, but while trying to connect it to SolMan it gives an warning (Agent Unavailable) no other error i could see. PFB screenshot for same.
4. I also tried to connect this DAA via smdsetup script, After executing the script i get the success message. But the Status is still the same for DAA.
5. I have tried uninstalling/installing new DAA on system, but still the same.
Please let me know if there is any way i can get this issue resolved so that DAA can be installed.
Note: System on which i am trying to install DAA is recently refreshed with its Production System, So please let me know if i have missed to check any pre-requisite in this case.

Introscope Agent failes to connect
Hello,
after an Functional Upgrade Check we upgraded the Introscope Wily4Java package to 8.2.4.3.
- Enabled Maintenance Mode for SMD
- Deployed the Packages via SDM
- Disabled Maintenance Mode for SMD
After this I started SM Workcenter to reinstall Bytecode Adapter but it failes for all Java Instances.
With following Error:
Enterprise Manager running fine and was restartet, all Diagnostic Agents running fine and are seen as grren in Agent-Admin:
The "Introscope Host Adapter" Installation is fine as well:
Did I forgot something ?

How to create logical component group in Solman 7.2 (on CAL)
Hi,
Maybe I'm missing something simple...
I've created an instance of Solman 7.2 in the cloud appliance library for exploration purposes. In particular I'm keen to understand the process modelling
I'm trying to create a logical component group (LCG) in my solution (no problem creating a solution). On the 'Logical component groups' tab, we can only display or edit, but there is a link to 'create / delete logical component groups within solution administration' below. This takes me to 'Solution administration'. I can create a Solution here, but there's no obvious way to create a LCG.
I have given myself all the *SLD* roles and all the SAP_SM* roles and the reading suggests that if I can get to the LMDB, that should be enough.
Hope someone can show me my mistake....

Solution Manager 7.1 SP 14 (09/2015) upgrade
Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading our SM 7.1 to SP 14 (09/2015) using SUM tool.
At the stage 5.4 we are ask to add around 40GB of space and create tablespace PSAPSR3702X. We give it 60GB, and it was all use up
in the next stage 5.5 Preprocessing at DBCLONE.
We added another 60GB space, and it was use up all again. Total 120Gb is totally use up in the DBCLONE stage.
The original PSAPSR3702 is only 30GB.
We are quite confuse why it needed so much space in DBCLONE. It is like using 4 times of the space and still keep asking stop due to error of insufficient space.
At stage 5.5 Preprocessing for ABAP, could we
1) Choose "Exist Program" and cancel the upgrade for ABAP part? Use SUM for Java related upgrade only.
2) Drop tablespace PSAPSR3702X and all it files? Any issue here if we reverse and drop the tablespace?
3) Stop using SUM for the ABAP stack SP14 upgrade and instead use SPAM/SAINT?

Offline SMD agents in Solman
Hi,
I am new to Unix as I never got chance to work on Unix before. Now I need to troubleshoot the offline smd agents in Solman agent admin page.Can anyone suggest me how to begin and what can be the reason behind the agents being offline.12 agents out of 500 are offline.

Charm - Setup of TMS - Error Transport Routes
Hi experts,
I want to setup the TMS in Charm.
I've already maintained the RFCs via solman_setup.
However, in transaction SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN I get the following error:
"Incorrect RFC connection to domain controller <SID> 000"
Error number is /TMWFLOW/TRACK_N193
Does anybody know what the problem might be?
I didn't really find a solution for this on the internet.

No. of security notes keeps changing??
Hello all,
Need help with this issue please.
I am trying to pull up security notes from solman_workcenter (ST 710 SP13) by applying filter as shown in the picture. My filters for technical system, time period, component plug-in versions/ kernel patch level version everything remaining constant technically I should get same no. of security notes. Is that correct?
I have been getting different results almost every week (I check weekly). What might be wrong?? Does SAP changes what solution manager pulls based on feedback from customers or any other factor?
I make sure to hit refresh so it connects to SAP portal and get updated info each time.

Time Recording Issue
Hi ,
I followed the steps in :How to Configure Solution Manager 7.1 Time Recording.
But when execute the report "AI_SDK_REPORT_EFFORT" it won't provide the time. I debugged the report and found that the data in the table "CRMD_TIMEREP" is missing. Can anybody please let me know where I am going wrong.

How to add transactions in Business Blueprint in SOLMAN
Hi..
While creating Logical component,it is asking to assign Technical system and System role what exactly we have to add there ?
Without adding technical system also Logical component has created but while adding transactions it showing error like No system for component SAP BUSINESS ONE and role 'Evaluation System'
How to resolve this issue ?

BPCA - Semi Dynamic TBOM, choice of Branching level
All,
The number of objects in a semi-dynamic TBOM is restricted based on the UPL Data being used.
Additionally one can choose for a branching level to determine the depth of the TBOM.
With a higher number, more objects will be in the TBOM, but disk-size and run-time of both TBOM creation and BPCA analysis increases.
Also, with a higher number, BPCA result will be in more detail, but TBOM's will havwe more overlapping objects.
Are there any guidelines/experiences which branching level for a semi-dynamic TBOM should be used in which circumstances.

It seems to be the successor of ST-SER 701_2010_1.
Does anyone Information what are the benefits of this new package, especially for SLR?

Unable to create Charm RFC after Hardware Migration
Hi Experts,
We have a production Charm transport issue.
We have recently migrated operation system from HP-UX to Linux. This issue is occurring after the production migrated to new hardware.
Issue :
Unable to create NC request in Charm.
Error Message: "N2015_ABC is not allowed in the Project phase" I have attached screenshot for your reference.
Below are the list of activities so far we have carried out.
- Production system migrated from Hp-UX to Linux
- Deleted OLD Production system in STMS and re configured
- Deleted the Production systems entries which is pointing to OLD hardware / hostname in SLD, LMDB and in Managed system configuration.
- Updated SLD with new hostname
- Completed Managed System configuration. All RFC's are working fine.
- Updated SAP CIM model and CR Content Delta in Solution manager, CIM and CR Content are up to date.
- LMDB sync is happening without issues
- Adjusted the entries in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN >> Emergency and maintenance >> System Landscape >> Logical Component (All are showing green here)
- Transports are working fine without Charm for this landscape (ABC).
- Charm is Woking fine for other landscapes except this one (ABC).
Please suggest, what we have to do now to enable the Charm in this landscape.

CCDB errors for some JAVA 7.40 systems
All,
We have solman 7.10 SP13.
Most of the CCDB stuff is all Green for my managed systems! But I do have a few consistent errors across most of my Pure Java AS 7.40 systems.

PI Monitoring using Solution Manager
Dear Experts,
We are configuring the PI monitoring using the solution manager successfully
But when opening the Technical Monitoring -->Integration Monitoring --> selected the domain and clicked on overview monitor /channel monitor/component monitor tab we are getting error in Data collection details as mentioned in the attached screenshot.
Kindly suggest how to resolve the issue and get the data properly from the application server to solution manager.
Managed system and system Monitoring configuration is completed as a prerequisite step.
Also how to trigger alerts via mails and sms when the channel are reporting errors and some messages in PI are in error etc.
Kindly help on this.
