we all know that Solman 7.2 is in RAMPUP stage. I got solman 7.2 and oracle application software download @ Marketplace.
QUERY : Can we install Solman 7.2 afresh / new ?
What is the procedure/tools to use for installation ?
Can we install solman 7.2 using SWPM, if yes then which release and SP of SWPM ?
Can some one help me with the steps of installation.

on two backend systems, the sld from Javastack cant forward their entries to SLD from Solution Manager.

we are facing issues for some users when they try to transport a change document from dev to test.
It seems that it only affects users that get the sign-on screen when they try to transport by hand with STMS.
Looking through the notes for TMSADM (which should stop the sign-on question) it seems there is no chance we can configure it correctly due to the central user Management.
Are there any Workarounds known?
Or what role should these users get to be able to transport without the request?

We are using SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP13, and have configured Business Process Monitoring using MAI.
We would like to configure so that alerts in Alert Inbox (under work center Business Process Operations (New)) would be confirmed automatically after a certain time (e.g. one month). Is this possible when using MAI?
There is no such setting in Business Process Monitoring Setup. Is there some report that could be scheduled to run e.g. daily?
With BPMon Classic, the alerts were saved in table DSWP_BPM_ALERTS, but with MAI the infrastructure is far more complex. Can the alert data be found from some data structures so that a custom report could be wrote to edit them?

We have a Solution Manager set up to handle VAR ITSM Activities (Incident Management).
I have been searching for a process to deactivate customer information in our Solution Manager when the customer leaves us as a VAR customer. Our System is still populated with the customer information (S-Users/Installations/Business Partner information/and so on...). Threre is all sorts of information to set up the new customer, but none to deactivate an existing customer that is no longer part of our partner services.
Is there any best practice for retrieving all the necessary information and deactivating it (locking users, marking as archived, and so on...)?

Hi everyone,
We have 3 scripts (in 3 diffrent locations) using Solution Manager EEM to monitor our company's website.
Normally the access time is about 3 seconds. Very good timing.
This Monday, we've changed the provider to Microsoft Azure.
Imediatelly after this change, the access time (on all 3 locations) went up, to 1 minute and 30 seconds.
We tried all kind of different tools to test the access and all of them show the same old 3 seconds loading time. We´ve also isolated the problem (IP, Firewall, Network, etc, etc) and the problem ONLY happens on the EEM Script.
So, it seems something specifically with SAP Solution Manager.
Is there any "issues" between SAP Solution Manager and websites located on Microsoft Azure? I did not find anything on this subject..

How can we trigger the action of the CRM-UI button "more->dispatch" via Post Processing Framework (PPF)?
We determine business-partners in CRM-UI via rule policy according to this very good instructions of Daniyar Kulmanov.
The action is triggered by the button "more -> dispatch". We want to avoid that the user has to press this button all the time.

What should be done to bring in the details of other RICEFW objects (mainly enhancements and user exist) into this project structure that is getting built by the utility?

I am facing issue while generating Stack file in MOPZ transaction. Below is what i have done so far
1. Install SAP NW 7.4 AS ABAP on HANA
2. Install Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 4
3. Perform Solman configuration steps.
4. Add Netweaver 7.4 into SLD.
5. Add Netweaver system into Solution.
Now when i am creating MOPZ transaction I am getting error as below. e.g.
ehp component pi_basis 7.40 without suitable technical usage!
I did go through the the SCN discussion such as below but still not able to resolve.

I've activated on a enterprise portal, that the http requests gets forwarded to https (via parameter icm/http_redreict_#)
Now the Technical Monitoring of the Solution Manager displays the JAVA-Instance as not available.
As the GRMG check false with "HTTP [307]: HTTP/1.0 307 Temporary Redirect".
How can I fix this problem?
I've already imported the client certificate of the Enterprise Portal to the Client PSE of Solution Manager.

I am building a CBTA Composite testcase, in which one export value of the first test case is used in many other teststeps.
The handover of the output parameter of testcase 1 can be done using local referencing.
However, since the amount usage of the parameter is high, i rather would use an environment context variable.
However, it seems that the scope of the environment context variables is on testcase level, and not on global, Composite Testcase level.
Passing parameters using a custom function would be a possibility as well, storing the data in a file, or a computer environment variable.
Preferably i would like to use Global variables, is that possible ?

I have a scenario in which I need my ChaRM Document (custom YMMJ) to automatically switch user statuses upon certain circumstances. Let me explain:
1) User invokes a visible PPF action to switch the status to E0011 (HF_SET_STATUS)
2) After switching to E0011, somehow code is automatically invoked that will apply some logic (custom action with BAdI?)
3) Based on the logic, the status can then automatically switch from E0011 to E0012, or stay at E0011
I've been trying to better understand the 'boundaries' of PPF actions versus BAdI actions, and I think with a combination of the two I can get this figured out, but I could use your help. I've been reading someof Michael Vollmer's blogs which are steering me in the right direction, but I could still use some assistance. Here's one idea, but not sure if it'll work:
1) Visible PPF action switches status to E0011
2) A custom Action at E0011 then invokes a custom BAdI (after consistency checks) to apply the logic
3) Based on the logic, the BAdI will submit program CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT to switch to next status of E0012
However, I'm not sure if that will work because perhaps the PPF action has the "final say" and the transaction will still finish in E0011. Right?
Is there a proper way of executing this scenario?

Is there any simple way to close multiple change requests at the same time?
