Error with Combo Box, Executing CBTA Script

Dear Experts.

 

I am Using CBTA in solman 7.1 SP 12 to automate the testing with SAP ERP (SAP GUI) and CRM(CRM UI). We are creating the test script without problem, but at time to execute, it suddenly stop.

 

We were checking and found that always is failing with a Combo Box field.

do you know if exist any note to correct this behavior?

In CRM UI, the script recording create the following component to fill the combo box

But in the execution CBTA does not fill the field, just try focus in the field, show the values but does not select any.


At the end show the following error

IN SAP ERP

In ERP, the script recording create the following component to fill the combo box

But in the execution CBTA does not fill the field, just try focusing in the field show the values but does not select any.

Then the script execution fail  and show  a error, saying the field is read only.

dear SAP

i have a system Solman 7.1

i'm upgrading Solman from SP04 to SP13 using SUM (SP12 patch 10) on windows 2012

and i faced  error  during  Excution phase 5.6  in JAVA Stack.
phase : Excution - Actual Update
Error : An error has occurred during the execution of the Deploy software components step.
Could not stop SDM server. Cannot execute Java process for stopSDM with parameters 50018. Return code condition success evaluated to false for process java.exe for action ACTION_STOP
You can find more information in the files D:\usr\sap\SOL\SUM\sdt\log\SUM\DEPLOY-COMPONENTS_22.LOG and ProcessOverview.html.
To troubleshoot the problem use the provided information. An SAP Note may provide a solution to this problem. Search for SAP Notes with the following keywords:
SUM??execute??component-deploy-700??deploy-components??com.sap.sdt.j2ee.services.servicesimpl.SDMService??class com.sap.sdt.j2ee.tools.sdmmanagement.OperateSdmException

i try to restart server and killed sapstartsrv..  but the problem is not solved. 
please let me know what i check more?

ChaRM: Two Virtual Systems?

It is possible to have two virtual systems in a ChaRM three tier landscape? DEV -> Virtual System 1 -> Virtual System 2?

This is because only DEV is available now with QAS and PRD following in the future. Thanks!

Change production sys. in LMDB for an ongoing Charm project

Hi all,

 

We are in the process of configuring Charm on Solman 7.1 SP12

 

In our current scenario, BSD and BSQ have been already upgraded. So they are in the same release. Production system (BSP) however has been not upgraded yet. Therefore, in LMDB there is a system with the above-mentioned SID (BSP). The point is that BSP it is in different release from the rest of the system in the maintenance track (BSD and BSQ).

 

Considering the above described scenario, we are not able to add current BSP in logical component (LC) for BSD and BSQ, and that it is being used within the Charm project, since it has a different product version from the rest of the system in maintenance landscape. Unfortunately we are not able to delete nor modify BSP in LMDB either since is being used in BPmon among other things.

 

We are planning to create a Virtual production system with a different SID (eg BS2) and with the correct release, product versions, in order to be able to include it to the LC currently added to the Charm project.  Work this way until the upgrade process on BSP ends. Then, when BSP is upgraded, and after closing the maintenance task lists, production system will be updated from BS2àBSP in LC. Do you see any constraint
in using this strategy?

Alert Calculation Engine stuck in Taskhandler step

Hi, all.  Just upgraded to Solman SP12, noticed all of our metrics are gray in TechMon. Solman_setup is complete and green, Basic config as well.  Ran through Managed System config for our solman system, no issues. 

 

Did some digging, found that SAP Alert calculation Engine is never completing, nor is it failing.  Ran for 2 days, just stuck on Starting step "Taskhandler for Reconfiguration".  It never finishes, never fails.

 

this subsequently causes warning message "ECE TSKH: Taskhandler is locked by user <user>" and "Event Calculation Engine will not run due to taskhandler lock."

 

I've looked in SM66 and SM50, the job is simply sitting there on hold, waiting.  Dev log file shows no activity after the program starts.  SM66 shows CPIC wait.  SM50 same - SYNC_CPIC

 

No dumps in st22/sm21/slg1 (warnings only)

 

Plenty of dialog/updated resources available. 

 

Digging through the notes, I've found nothing that addresses this issue.  1964945 is similar but not specific.  Our housekeeping jobs are running correctly. I've found nothing related to Taskhandler at all. 

 

I've gone through Roland's blog on troubleshooting, no luck.  Since it's not throwing any errors, just warnings, it's actually more difficult to figure out.

 

So - where do I go with this?  Stumped completely.

SAP TAO Error while Automating Web SAP HR Portal

Hello All,
The below is our scenario. We are creating PFA's using SAP TAO 3.0.2 to automate the SAP HR Web Portal which was developed in ABAP Webdynpro. We are able to create the PFA successfully and upload it to ALM but when we run the PFA from the Test Plan in ALM, we are getting an error saying

"ERROR DETECTED * Error: -2146233088 Description: Inconsistent state - Invalid session Id - <>Source: SAPTAOTestPlayer".
Can you please suggest us what is this error, is it something related to the patch that we need to work with the Basis team?
When we do the self-check, we are facing the below errors.

 

1. User Profile
2. System under test user role.

CDMC Upgrade Change Impact Realworld question

Hi,

 

We have run a CDMC UCIA to find out affected Z codes due to EHP4 to EHP7 upgrade. We have got good result and know what to fix in our Z codes.

Now my question is, how to monitor the effectiveness and integrity of our Z code fixing? Can we run a CDMC UCIA again and expect to see Z Codes which were Red traffic light to change to Green during the latest run?

 

How exactly CDMC UCIA can be used to monitor the execution of Z code fixing?

CSOL - objects not being locked in SolMan (ChaRM)

Hi

 

We are using ChaRM in SolMan 7.1 SP12.

 

Projects have been activated and users are using ChaRM.

 

CSOL has also been activated and we have checked all config (it's definitely activated!!)

 

Yet, when we go into the report to view locked objects there is nothing in there!!!


Why isn't this working?

Transport of copies during System refresh of Quality System

We have a 4 system landscape, Dev(D)-> Quality( 2systems Q & M)->Prod(P). We have many CHarms in status "to be tested". The transport of copies have been imported into both quality systems. Now, we need to perform system refresh on one of the quality system( Q). Some new ChaRms may be created during that time. After the refresh, can the ChaRms be updated to "Successfully tested"?

I have shown her the standard one and she is  happy but she would like to have it on a normal incident screen,(see attached)

Wily introscope decommissioned and SMD agent in solution manager shows status disconnected

Hi ,

 

Recently Wily Introscope was decommissioned and the SMD agent in the solution manager is showing the status as disconnected. So according to my analysis I came to the following below conclusions

 

NOTE:I have to install wily introscope again and configure in the solution manager and previously we had wily and solution manager on different machines.

 

  • Uninstall the SMD agent in the solution manager and reinstall it along with the Wily Introscope
  • install the wily and try to configure the SMD until it comes to running state

 

 

Guys let me know if there is any other possible solution .

Charm Performance issue for only one CD

We have one normal Change with 15 TRs in it.

 

Now when we are trying to open the Change doucment we are getting timeout error.

 

Other things are working fine.

How to map business scenarios from implementation project to template project

We have a template project and in this we have maintained few business scenarios. And also some specific scenarions are configured in the implementation project. Now we need to make template project as Global Template and for this we need map all existing scenarios in implementation project to template project.

 

Please suggest how we can map from implementation project to template project.

ITSM actions: how to sequence it?

Hello,

I have a problem in my Incident Mgmt process:

I have scheduled two actions which should be executed one after another.

1. Dispatch: User can select action "dispatch" from the  action menue and save: in the background SolMan is changing the status of the incident to "forwarded" (E0009) and the support team field (from the 1st level team to second level team) by using a PFAC rule --> this is working fine

The schedule condition is: when user status = "in process" (E0002) (dispatch action is only available for the user when incident is in this previous user status)

2. Email to second level team in status forwarded: here SolMan sends an email to the email adress of the support team (which is a BP with proper maintained email adress) to inform the new team that there is a ticekt waiting for processing by the team --> this is working fine as well

The startcondition is when user status "forwarded" (E0009)

BUT my issue is: SolMan did execute both actions fine (they are executed with same time stamp so I assume simultaniously) but in most cases he sends the Email first to the support team BEFORE switching the team by Dispacth action. So Email in most cases sent to wrong support team.

 

I asked this question to SAP but they said it is customer customizing and no support areas anymore

 

Does anybody has an idea what is the root cause? Did I customize it totally wrong?

Any help or idea is very appreciated.

Incidents are incorrectly sent to SAP

Hi SAP Experts,

 

The send to SAP functionality was working fine prior to update to 7.1 SP12.

 

Now, the messages are sending to SAP randomly. Calling hours are correctly maintained as well as the AISUSER table.

 

Is there an additional note to apply in sp12?

How to maintain Planned End date for Project Milestones

Hi Experts,

 

I have created an Implementation project, assigned a roadmap to it and maintained the Milestones from Solman_Workcenter by setting up Quality Gate Management. Now in the Milestones tab of Solar_Project_Admin there is a column "Planned End Date" but its disbaled. How do I maintain the Planned End Date as there is no option to maintain it even in QGM.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
