Hi,
I am doing some debugging to find out how solution_workcenter is getting it's alert information from the managed system. I understand it is a blackbox but I need to get an idea of how the extraction framework works. Which background jobs are going to the managed system and causing the queries to run in the SSA/EKP etc. programs and pulling out the alert count?
Any pointer in the direction of helping me deep dive into BPMon on MAI extraction framework would be appreciated.

I am going to configure CTS+ in solman 7.1. First time am doing this in solman and need the basics in cts+ configuration. My systems involved are a portal syatem lanscape and the solman system.So i need to configure CTS+ including these systems. I have gone through some documents regarding this.But still I didnt get an idea about from where i need to start with.So anyone please give me an idea of step by step configuration of CTS+ in these sytems i mentioned earlier.I need to get the basic idea regarding this,how to start with,how it works in solman and other systems how the tr movement etc..waiting for your help.

i have a system Solman 7.1 SP08 on Windows 2008 R2, and have some problem about Local Disk spcace .
because Solman has a lot of satellite SAP System that configured EWA Re( like EP, PI )
so Our Solman regularly receives new data.

how to configure to archive to OS hardisk directly detail in OAC0?

I need your help and advise on the below issue.
I have configured ITSM 3rd party integration of Solman with a Non-SAP system After performing the Configuration using the WSDL and (SOA Manager) Web service proxy the connection established between Solman and ALTRIS and that is when we tried to create the incident from ALTRIS system we can able to retrieve the same in solman. The vice versa is not happening.
And we are creating the incident in solman and when we try to synchronize with 3rd party we are facing the below attached error.
It will be really helpful it we get advise for the posted issue.

We are busy performing the system preparation tasks on our solman 7.1 , we are on step 6.3 connect diagnostics agents but agent don't appear on the agent availables in all SLD table:
We have checked on the system and agent is running on the SLD server:

besides the automatic issues within monitoring area we wolud like to implement quided procedures for the following tasks:
1) manual check of all involved agents
2) manual check of autoreaction methods
Is it possible to implement therefore an automatic task with automatic mail notification telling the user do execute the both tasks, to set the status of both tasks and to document the both tasks?

I have setup Technical Monitorng for our HANA BW (7.4) landscape in solution manager 7.1 SP11. I can see the metrics collecting data and alert calculations working. But when i look at DB analysis in RCA, the charts are not loading. It is failing with an authoriation error:
You only have authorization to display infocube 0HDB_MP11.
Solution manager's BI client is seperate and it seems the call to infocube in the BI client is failing? If yes, which user is it used to collect data from BW infocubes and what should be the authorization needed to fix this?

We have ChaRM implemented with 4 level categorization. I am writing a report to find change docs and read their categorization based on a transport request attached to the change doc. Unfortunately I can't figure out the connection. Could you pls give me guidance? Thanks in advance!

For ChaRM RfC, I configured ZMCR transaction type.
I want the Sold-To Party field populated automatically. I followed instruction given in some sdn forums:
1. IB52 assign Solution Manager Client 001 to Sold-To Partner ID
2. Partner Determination Procedure > Partner Functions in Procedure: ZMCR0001 was set to 0018 SAP Service: Determination via IBase/Ind. Object from Ref.Object Set (Tried AIC2, AIC3 as well).
Still the Sold-To Party field is not populated automatically after I click Create new Request for Change.

I have to configure Incident management for VAR scenario.
i am facing few issues with VAR related activities.
I have few customers appearing in view V_AISAPCUSTNOS and installation no in V_AIINSNRS.
Although in the job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT i get error message no authorization for system data maintenance for the S user.
In BP i can see only 1 organization created as sold to party.
In IB 52 i can see few systems as well,do i need to assign the partner no of above created BP(Org) as sold to party for the system which are created?
I have manually created the key users and in BP i have maintained the CRM0001 and SP0002 entries for this user and have maintained the relationship as " Is contact person for" and assigned the BP( org) that was created automatically earlier.
But when i go to workcenter ITMS and Created message of type ZMIV i still get the error message
"You are not assigned to any iBase entries. Please contact your system administrator"
But for the user that i have logged on with has the entries CRM0001 and SP0002.
Please advice.

I am getting issue when I am trying to add the ECC 6 (SAP_APP 600 20) system in Solution Manager 7.1 (ST-710 09).
The definition of Technical System 'SID~ABAP' is not correct: 'SID~ABAP': Operating System 'Windows NT~6.0' of Host 'hostname' must have at least one Software Component Version

Hi All,
We want to Use Solution Manager BPR for Mapping of Business Processes for BPC and for this we checked and tried the same consisting of Solution Manager 7.0, "SAP Business Objects Business Planning and Consolidation" but it shows an product version as for "SAP BPC 7.0 FOR MICROSOFT, " Only
But in Solution Manager 7.1 System it is showing for both ""SAP BPC 7.0 FOR MICROSOFT,SAP BPC 7.0 FOR SAP NET WEAVER".
Need to understand why it is not showing Netweaver in Solman 7.0 System and also for mapping this BPC in to Solution manager what are to be taken in to considerations.
Please suggest on this, your help is highly appreciated.

We have installed and configured a new SolMan 7.1 .
We are trying to run the MOPZ in order that the system automatically detects the lates patch version and the xml , but we are having these errors:
and
on the LDMB and SMSY , DB and message server are maintained.
Even with that you can press caculate but , unfortunately system doesn't do that.
Could someone help us?
