Technical monitoring template are not available for IT Infrastructure

Hi Experts,

 

While setting up Technical monitoring --> IT Infrastructure Monitoring. The standard monitoring templates are missing. I tried to configure custom templates but there is no option to create it. Please let me know if any configuration/setup that i need perform to enable standard template. I have sap_all access.

charm - Administration header could not be found

Hi All,

 

We are using Change requests based in old transaction, SDCR, in Solution Manager 7.1 SP 08 till now. Currently we have upgraded Sandbox System (MOCK) to SP12, in which we are encountering error while approving the CR.


Administrative header not found for the monitoring object.

Steps to get it:

1. create change request (type urgent correction) using transaction CHARM_CREATE

2. open transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR

3. open newly created change request

4. approve this change request

5. save

6. error pops up, but new urgent correction is created anyway

 

Could you help me to get rid of this popup?

Creating Incident message for Top Level Component with Very High Priority

Hi All,

 

Till now we are able to Incident message (ZMIN) from Satellite system for top level component with very high priority.

 

Recently we have updated our system SolMan 7.1 SP08 to SP12 after which we are unable create Incident message (ZMIN) from Satellite system for top level component with very high priority.

we have upgraded the Solution Manager System SP 7.1 SP08 to SP12.

 

when we tried to generate new monitoring object following error occurred.

 

No valid configuration for "SP12 UPGRADE ECC"

Issue:

We are facing an issue with the combination BRFPLUS and SAP ITSM, as soon a customer specific data element like the element EXTERNAL REFERENCE (CRMT_PO_NUMBER_SOLD) will be used in the BRFPLUS object SOLMAN. This data element will be used in order to determine the support team. The BRFPLUS simulation is working fine.

 

TC: BRFPLUS with the field EXTERNAL REFERENCE

 

 

 

 

 

As soon the web-ui field EXTERNAL REFERENCE (field: //BTADMINH/PO_NUMBER_SOLD) is maintained in the ITSM web-ui and the incident ticket has been saved - the support team won't be determined.

How to set ZMIN-Document read-only

Hello

 

 

i would like to set a ZMIN-document to read-only after it is saved with a specific user-Status.  (e.g. E0019 --> external processing)

 

 

Only a programm using crm_order_maintain should be able to change the status back to E0002

 

 

Any help on how to achieve this would be greatly apreciated.

Mopz for single business package

we are recently installed EP 7.3  for HR ESS/MSS with all business packages with sum tool now we have a requirement to increase bp level for single business packages

we are on BPMSSADDON 1.0 we need go the latest level for that  is that possible  with mopz if yes let me know the steps

Initial Assessment in Solution Manager 7.1

Hi SAP Experts,

 

Can you help us how to do or where to find the initial assessment in Solution Manager 7.1? In the Set-up guide, it only states that "a support readiness activity is also known as the Initial Assessment service. This could be fulfilled with the execution of an SAP Enterprise Support Setup Service via SAP Solution Manager." But their is no instruction as to the path where it can be found.

 

In 7.0, we do the initial assessment through DSWP, however this transaction is obsolete in 7.1.

SAP_BASIS 702 0014 after patching solman_setup not responding

Hi Experts

 

After implementing SAP_BASIS 702 0014 and doing the steps for System Preperation and Basic configuration.

 

There where some notes that needed to be implemented via note 1933506.

 

After going thru this there are things in the work center that no longer respond, no error just nothing happens when click´d on.

 

Like the configure system in the managed system config and Change management  maintenance optimizer.

Add a system to the Landscape

We are using a 3 system landscape, namely ERD->ERQ->R3P. We have created a project and also the task list. Several ChaRm request have been created with status "In Development".  Now, we need to add another quality system (ERM) into the landscape. How to achieve this without closing the Task-list?

Objects are inactive after implementing charm master note(Note's status-completely implemented)

Hi Experts,

 

We have implemented Charms in SMD server and its working fine.

 

When we are trying to relese TR containing Charm master note,its giving error' objects are not activated'

I tried to activate objects but as its standard object its asking for access key.

All notes are implemented properly but some objectes are inactive because of those notes.

 

 

Could anyone suggest what could be the reasong behind this??

Global Template Changes reflection in to Implementation Project

Dear Team,


We have created the Global Template with all business processes and maintained the Attributes " Global/Local " Depending on it's Sub process.


By using Created Global template as Global Roll-out, we created one implementation Project and mapped that Global Template to this Implementation Project. when we are checking the new implementation project in Solar01, we are able to see all the local & global attributes which are defined .


Now our query is when we are Adding/Deleting any business processes to the Global Template, that changes are not effecting in Implementation project which was mapped to Global Template.


Want to know that is this will be possible or not ? if yes How to achieve this ? If not , why, please suggest .

No Data in Business Process Analytics - 7.1 SP11

Hello Experts,

 

we would like to evaluate Business Process Analytics for collecting FI data from an ERP System.

Unfortunately, we didn't have success to load data to Cube 0SM_BPMRH so far.

 

We are using a Solution Manager on 7.1 with SP11 with the following addons:

 

ST-PI2008_1_7000011SAPKITLRDKSAP Solution Tools Plug-In
ST-A/PI01R_7000001SAPKITAB7NServicetools for other App./Netweaver 04

 

Our ERP System which we want to collect data from is a SAP ECC 6.0 with the following addons:

We have made the setup using SAP Setup guide for BPA for SolMan 7.1 SP05.

We could successfully load the BW master data for our logical component and we also set up a monitoring object "Sales Document Items" with some Key figures ans scheduled them.

The box for "Data collection in background" is not checked.

 

What we already did to troubleshoot the problem:

 

1.) Configure Analytics Connector to managed system:

     - The status of the managed system in line BPM_ACube is green and active.

     - RFC Connection is set to "NONE". Is that correct?

    - System ID and Client are visible in Managed System Box

 

2.) Assigning the role SAP_SM_BPOANA_ALL to the users in SolMan and SAP_MANAGED_BPOANA_ALL to the users in the ERP system.

 

Do you have an idea what we could do to fix it?

How to make global reports from EWA-Data in Solution Manager?

Hello alltogether,

here a simple question:

i want to know from all systems connected to the solution manager, if it is a Unicode system or not.

In the EWA raw data you can find the flag unicode.

 

So, is it possible to have a report over all EWA's to find out which systems are Unicodesystems?

 

Also more possible questions are, for all systems

 

1. how big is the database of each system

2. how big is the databasegrowth of each system

3. which critical issues i have in the ewa's

4. which systems have only one CI, and no application server

5. how big is the total memory of all servers of each systems

6. number of CPU's of all servers of each systems

7. which servers are virtuell, which not

8. on which servers is the max. CPU load [%] > 80 %

 

 

 

 

 



[SolMaN\ChaRM]:Table Names to Store Data from a CheckList

I would like to create a screen on Solution Manager to input data from a checklist.I am quite sure, that there is a standard checklist (ticket ChaRM), that can be adapted withthe necessary information. My doubt is: what are the standard tables that ticket ChaRM (Solution Manager) uses to store the checklist of information? Nobody knows those table names?

I have a question regarding ITSM in Solution Manager.

When I open transaction 'sm_crm', 'seleting a business role' screen appear.

But there are lots of business roles. I want to restrict useless business roles except the things that I need to get. Especially, I want to leave Solmanpro, Dispatcher, requestor roles.

To restrict the business roles that is useless for me, I want to set the parameters in SU01.

However, I don't know how to do it.

Please give me a guide.

Alerts from Technical Monitoring - not really clear why...

Dear experts,

 

I know that this is very specific, but today I have come accross alerts, for which I could not really find the cause.

Out Solution Manager reported itself being down per e-mail at about 23:56h yesterday:

 

Alert Details

Name....................ABAP System not available

Start Time..............03.03.2015 23:56:25 CET

End Time................03.03.2015 23:56:25 CET

 

As I did not find any severe errors in SM21 from this time a bit earlier, I thought that it's not a bad idea to check

the available.log file in the work directory. There I saw the following:

 

Available   02.03.2015 22:00:58 - 03.03.2015 21:14:59

Unavailable 03.03.2015 21:15:59 - 03.03.2015 23:28:05

Available   03.03.2015 23:29:05 - 04.03.2015 08:28:26

 

Maybe my thinking is wrong, but for me it doesn't fit. Why the alert was not created at 21:15, as the system has

become unavailable ? Or shortly after it has become available again (as it can't alert about problems, when it is

down, meaning to send an alert at let's say 23:30h).

External Monitoring Solution access to SAP vor End to End monitoring

Hello Colleagues,

 

I have a question regarding access an external Monitoring Solution to SAP.

 

Our EDI Team need to have access to the SAP Monitoring to check if their interfaces has successfully delivered messages like IDoc, etc. to SAP.

 

Like a non SAP End to End Monitoring Solution and here is SAP only a part on the beginning or end.

 

Is here an external access to the SAP Monitoring information's possible?

Deletion of Process steps with attributes as global in implementation project

Hi All,

 

When we tried to delete the process steps with attributes as global in implementation project, it allowed us to delete but with warning message. But as you know it should not allow to delete the process step which are global .

 

Please suggest on this how to prevent this ?
