CCLM Dashboards endless login request

Hi Gurus,

 

we want to use CCLM with our solution manager 7.1 sp12.

After initial configuration we get a endless login request, if we want to start the dashboards section.

CHARM and Single Sign On

Dear SAP gurus -

 

We have a requirement for configuring SSO on CHARM - Solution manager 7.1

When a user logs in to windows workstation and opens the link for CHARM to create a request or opens a link from his Outlook to approve a change request, it should go directly to Solution manager without having to put in UserID and password.

 

Please advise.

managed System Setup - Update roles -CUA

Hi All,

 

Hi Team,

 

We keep hitting the following error message in our solman production system when doing managed

system configuration to update roles from to any other managed systems from solman_setup


 

We have  implemented  OSS note 2056893 - SAP

Roles Not Copied to the Customer Namespace and Not Assigned To Users .

but we still have the issue.

 

We have CUA implimented in our solman system

 

Has any seen this issue and is there any separate procedure on how to update roles from solman to CUA managed systems

few of the metrics gray in technical monitoring

Hi All,

 

We have configured the managed system setup and technical monitoring for our Production system

 

Few of the metric are shown in gray status ,when i check for data collection it gives below log

When i check on the MAI alert log viewer everything looks green

 

And sometimes below error

Also during some part of the day metric will be green ,then aftersometime it switches to gray

 

Has anyone seen this error ,could you please help to solve this

Technical Monitoring - RFC metric 1 Minute-Check

Hi experts,

 

does anybody know, if there is a possibility to call a RFC metric in technical monitoring every minute?
As far as my experience is, it is always just 5 minutes.

 

Also if I change the checking-time to 1 minute in the metric.

Hi,

 

We have implemented ITSM in Solution manager 7.1 SP 7, Configured email when the status of the incident is changed. It's working fine.

We have created PFAC rule to choose the support team automatically and send email to the support team.

Now current requirement is to send email to the dispather whenever the status of the incident is changing. I searched for the partner function for dispatcher, don't find any. Could you please help me to sort out this issue.

Hi Experts,

 

Need help in creating task list for charm implementation.

 

 

while creating task list, we are getting error"Error in creating task list /TMWFLOW/PROJCTC".

 

We have checked all possible root cause

- Number range is maintained properly

- All authorization are in place

- All RFC's are working fine

 

 

Could anyone please help in resolving above issue and if possible please tell all steps to create project and tasklist for charms implementation

Update working/total duration with every save

Hello group,

 

I have set up SLA escalation and duration calculation (including availability/service hours) - which works fine basically. However, the values for total duration (SRQ_TOT_DUR) and working duration (SRQ_WRK_DUR) are only recalculated/updated when the status is changed (eg. from "forwarded" to "in process"). Is it possible to force a recalculation of SRQ_TOT_DUR and SRQ_WRK_DUR with every save?

 

If it is not possible to do this via customizing, I am thinking about doing this with custom code (still would have to find the correct methods or function modules, though). Any ideas or comments on that (might be a bad idea, I don't know)?

I am adding a java only system to solman . i am getting error in step 4 of manage system configuration

In java parameter field when i am clicking on test logon  i am getting this error

 

logon failed  Exception while trying to get InitialContext. (Cause: there are no access points for service: P4 registered on the message server)

 

ports , user name , password is all correct user has proper authorization .

 

Then i checked SMD agent logs in agent administration i got this

Currently we are in a Process of Migrating Existing Ticketing Tool to SAP Solution Manager Service Desk. In this Process I have a Questions.

 

1.Is it Possible to migrate The Historical data that is present in Current Ticketing tool to SAP Solution Manager Service Desk Tool?

 

If answer is Yes, Can you please let me know the Process of Migration of the data?

Adding SAP delivered test cases into Template Project

Big question,

 

In other customers I was able to find a large array of pre-delivered automated test cases that I could use.  Create cost centre, create planning, etc.

 

Now I am doing the same for a Solution Manager, but I cannot find any of the standard delivered test cases.  Can someone please help as I have tried the Service Marketplace and other places too.  Would I also need to think of best practices!!  We have an open OSS with SAP but nothing from them at all.

Hi

 

I am interested in feedback from those who may have migrated their manual regression and support pack test scripts to CBTA.

 

At this stage looking for HR and Payroll scripts but later we would look at other modules, FI, PM, MM, etc

 

I am interested if any framework, that you use, i.e. to carry out the assessment, to see if the existing test script is a candidate for automation i.e. to be recorded to be CBTA compatible?. How did you decide on what should be automated, the criteria?

 

We expect some of the HR and payroll scripts may be challenging as they will likely have a tendency to be linked to specific data.

How does CBTA cope with data dependencies , and how easy is it to change the data related to the script, when the data has change?

 

Any constraints with the tool you found? We are lucky as we are currently upgrading to Solman 7.1 SP12 (we were on SP10). Hopefully  the various UI technologies, WebDynpro  through to UI5 you are all supported. This is covered in OSS note 1835958, i.e. the technologies not or partially supported.

 

Are the scripts automated to the point they can run over night without intervention. Especially tests for regression testing and applying support packs etc

 

I would appreciate any information or experiences  you had in migrating from manual test scripts to running fully automated scripts.

Needs to create Multiple Incidents for Multiple entries

Dear Experts ,

 

I am new to Solution manager , I have one requirement that I needs to create Multiple incidents for multiple entries in the Detailed Info.

I tried to implement the BADI "BADI_CUSTOM_SUPNOTIF" but It's not working . I have used the method CL_DSWP_BPM_ALERT_API=>CREATE_INCIDENT for to create the Incident.


Please suggest me any body how to create Custom multiple incidents automatically based on the number of entries in the output list.

Problems in deleting relation in a message/ticket - Sap Solution Manager

Hello SAP Solution Manager Experts,

 

My requirement is to delete relation in a ticket.

 

I have two messages/tickets : 8000007034 and 8000007035 respectively.

 

Can you please tell me the steps to follow or the prerequisite to be in position to successfully delete this relation?

I am getting this warning message on saving the changes made to the message after deleting the relation. The relation 8000007035 re-surfaced as per the printscreen.

Scenario:

 

There are only 6 users in both the servers.

 

 

One Satellite Server                               

User name: x                                            

User name  y

User name  z

User name: a

User name  b

User name  c

 

 

One Solution Manager Server

User name: x                                            

User name  y

User name  z

User name: a

User name  b

User name  c

 

All Users are able to create messages from Satellite Server.

 

User x,y,z are in one department and User a,b,c are in different department.

 

Requirement:

 

Support message created by x should be visible to only y and message from y should be visible to only z. while

Support message created by a should be visible to only b and message from b should be visible to only c.

Managed System Configuration: Error

Hi Friends,

 

I am doing Managed System Configuration for a JAVA system.

In the step Enter parameters, I am facing error : Logon test failed for user Administrator     Details : No configuration found for key   (SID/sapj2ee/msgserver/host), when I am providing Java Parameters.

 

PFA for the attached screen for the same.

 

Can anyone help me out in clearing this issue.

I am configuring solman 7.1, I have completed up to technical monitoring.Now i am in ChaRM configuration i completed 2 steps. But i am not getting how to perform the other steps(copy transaction types, TMS configuration etc...), I checked in google but it is not clear. Any one please share the ChaRM configuration documents. I am struggling from last one month for this.
