Compare and adjust on Configuration tab

Hi,

We have the Template project and Implementation project.

I have perfromed compare and adjust from the Implementation project , but the document  in the Configuration tab cannot be edited, and this pop occurs which says for editing the document, the document need to be copied.

Is there any way by which the document will be copied as a reference to template project ?
