Missing Support Team

I created an organization hierarchy using CRM_UI and when I try and select the support team they do not appear in the drop down . I was  under the impression that the business partner would automatically generate when building the hierarchy using CRM_UI. When you use ppoma_crm and looking at the structure BP is blank.
