We have a Solution Manager 7.1 system. We are monitoring a mixture of ERP6 AIX and Linux systems. Management would like us to generate monthly reports that show database growth, cpu utilization, response times of specific individual core transactions during core business hours, and total dialog response time during core business hours of the client systems. The idea is to capture and store all of the requuired data in Solution Manager and generate reports from the data on a monthly basis.
I'm trying to understand the scope of the request, given Solution Manager's capabilities. Is this something that can be accomplished by configuring predefined metrics? Will user exits or other coding have to be written to capture the required information (especially capturing response times of a certain group of transactions, but only for certain hours of the day).
