With an increasing number of clients moving to S4HANA or opting for managed cloud-based solutions, the question being raised is if they have access to full Solution Manager functionality in the cloud?
We know that such functionality as Technical Monitoring, ITSM, BPMON are currently available in the cloud. But what about other WorkCenter tabs like Implementation/Upgrade and Test Management ?
The situation would apply to:
- Clients who are currently not SAP ECC users but want to avail of solutions such as SAP SuccessFactors as SaaS
- Project teams, without traditional SAPGUI access, who want team members to store documentation and project deliverables in Solution Manager
- Project teams who want to track progress using SolMan reports and queries
- Clients opting for Test Option 1 via the Test Management WorkCenter
- Clients who wish to avail of such Test Management capabilities of Solution Manager as UPL, TBOMs, BPCA and CBTA
Input from SAP's Solution Manager leaders or practitioners faced with similar situations is requested.
