Hi
We are looking at moving off HPQC(ALM) to have all our Defect and Test Management being centrally managed via Solution Manager (in our case Solution Manager 7.1 SP12). Referring to the SAP Standard for Test Management ...we want to move to Option 1.
We are planning to roll out a number of Application Lifecycle Management componets e.g. CHARM, CBTA, BPCA, TDMS
But keen to gain feedback from those who have implemented and are running Option 1 and how and what features in Solman have been configured to deliver it..... including managing all testing cycles, defect management, storing test scripts (including those scripts that won't be automated i.e. are manually run), creating test plans, storing the test results for comparison purposes etc etc
Thoughts from who has successfully completed this. Is there documentation on configuring the above Test Management functions....i.e. if you are going to chose Option1....how to roll this out and connecting and integrating the various associated components like CHARM in regards test management etc remember we want to have the features that HPQC can deliver now been delivered via Solman.
I would appreciate your feedback.
Thanks in advance.
