we currently have the following scenario:
- we have a Solution Manager 7.1 SP12 system, mainly used for Technical Monitoring and Alerting
- we have a CRM 7.0 EHP3 back-end system with a customized BSP application used by the users of the system
So basically, the users navigate in the CRM system via a BSP application in Internet Explorer
Over the last month, we noticed that a lot of users are receiving HTTP 500 errors (Internal Server Error) when navigating in CRM
Now we have a requirement for monitoring and capturing these BSP HTTP 500 errors, from Solution Manager, if possible
We started by looking at ST22 short dumps on the CRM system, but unfortunately, not all HTTP 500 errors received by users have a corresponding short dump visible in ST22, and in addition to that, it is extremely difficult to know if a short dump in ST22 will trigger a HTTP 500 page to the user
Do you know if it is possible to capture/monitor these HTTP 500 issues from Solution Manager (Technical Monitoring), this CRM system being already configured as one of the Managed Systems? We are looking for the volume of these HTTP 500 issues over time
I was expecting to find some collectors managing the monitoring of ICM return codes for BSP applications but I couldn't find any
Do you know this can be achieved in Solution Manager?
