Dear experts,
I know that this is very specific, but today I have come accross alerts, for which I could not really find the cause.
Out Solution Manager reported itself being down per e-mail at about 23:56h yesterday:
Alert Details
Name....................ABAP System not available
Start Time..............03.03.2015 23:56:25 CET
End Time................03.03.2015 23:56:25 CET
As I did not find any severe errors in SM21 from this time a bit earlier, I thought that it's not a bad idea to check
the available.log file in the work directory. There I saw the following:
Available 02.03.2015 22:00:58 - 03.03.2015 21:14:59
Unavailable 03.03.2015 21:15:59 - 03.03.2015 23:28:05
Available 03.03.2015 23:29:05 - 04.03.2015 08:28:26
Maybe my thinking is wrong, but for me it doesn't fit. Why the alert was not created at 21:15, as the system has
become unavailable ? Or shortly after it has become available again (as it can't alert about problems, when it is
down, meaning to send an alert at let's say 23:30h).
