Hi All,
I am planning to configure Service Request in Solman 7.1. The functionalites which I am looking forward once the service request is configured are:
1. Configure Service Request Template – for new user creation, security authorization etc..with custom fields
2. Configure routing (workflow) so the service request is sent to the right owner
3. Notification to Approver – Approve task
4. Email notification on status change
After going through different documents, I am bit confused on the usage between the transaction types: service request and service order. Could you please advise on which document type to be used to fulfil the above requirement. Also could you please help me understand on which scenario we use service order and service request.
