Dear experts,
this is a twisted one. Since nearly half a year, I am fighting with implementing technical monitoring via
the Solution Manager in our landscape.
We want to receive the most important alerts (like system down) per SMS and e-mail and the other not
that critical alerts per e-mail only.
Due to some reasons, SMS sending doesn't work and we decided, that it will be easier to forward the
e-mails containing the critical alerts to SMS messages! But here comes another hiccup - the e-mails are
by default pretty spacy, containing a lot of dots and empty spaces, so almost no useful info fits in the 160
character limitation for an SMS 
So, my question is, whether it would be possible to somehow modify these messages and make them
look more compact, so the important info will fit in an SMS ? Or perhaps the short format for SMS (which
I have never been able to see!) can be adapted for e-mails as well... ??
I have been digging in the Template Maintenance tabs and screens, but did not manage it to display the
message, that corresponds to a specific alert...
