In our chnage control process we have found users can use a change document frm DEV to QAS to PRD, more then one time.
The way it work with us.-( main stream)
create change doc
create transport
perform customsing in DEV
transported to QAS
tested in QAS
set to succesfully tested - if not it can be rest into development and corrective transport can be created
send to change control board - (status - to be approved by CCB)
approved by CCB
Imported transport into production (result status "Production")
action "Complete Correction" (result status "Completed")
The problem is that users found that during the completion process, after you selected the action "set to complete", the changedoc will popup with the following screen "Do you want to complete the urgent correction?"
you have option : yes / no / cancel
You then click YES
The system will give you another popup called "Checks to complete a tasklist"
at this point if you click the X in top right hand corner or bottom left, then the system automatically issue popup that say function cancelled and you only have option to click enter. the system then set the change document into status "in development" (the system issue a waring message that say exception has occured), but users can then reuse the same change document all over again, from DEV to QAS to PRD without the necessity to get a new approval for a change
Any ideas how we can prevent the system to reset it to "in developement". I would like to see if you in status "production" and you close the "complete correctction" action by clicking on a X then it should just default to status "production"
