SCOT - Node connected to W/O nodes

Hi,

Issue: AT transaction SCOT ->mail status shown as "Error" assigned to

w/o nodes. Unsuccessful to delete and modify the node.

There were bunch of sent mails showing as "error" at SOST.

environment:  Solution manager 7.1 SR1 SP9.0 OS: AIX 9.7

Question: In case the internet mail process works .. is Internet mail

gateway RFC required (mailgw.ini) ? ,w.r.t sap note 101573 RFC

configuration is not required. I cant find this file in the

path:/usr/sap/SID/sys/exe/run/mlunxsnd , also GWCONFIG
