A client has a standard alert setup in SolMan to report when a Java Instance is unavailable. The alert is currently configured to report when an instance is down every 10 minutes until it's available again.
Question is: Senior Management on the recipient list for these alerts have asked if it's possible for the alerting to "slow down". Basically their phones have been going crazy since 2am this morning, and they would like to be alerted initially, but as time progresses for the alerts to become less frequent.
For instance, alerted initially, then again 10 minutes later, then 20 minutes later, then 30 minutes later - and so on.
I would imagine that it's a case of being alerted every 10 minutes (for example) or not alerted at all.
My experience with alerting from SolMan is limited so was hoping someone out there may know if this is possible??
