Dear Collegues,
We're just starting to play with the solution manager system's Test Automation capalibites to see if it suits our needs and test automation(or any major module of the solution manager for that matter) requires a Bussiness Process tree and we don't have one.
I'm having some problems understanding the differences between a solution and a project and what are the best practices in implementing them.
We have an ECC system with most of the major ERP modules, a CRM system and an SRM system where all of them are already implemented in the production systems and don't have any major projects, just regular maintenance and improvements.
My questions are:
1.Should I build one solution for all the systems or one for each system( ECC,CRM etc.)
2.Should I build a solution for the production systems and one for non-Prod ?
3.Should I build any projects as I don't have any ?
And in general how your landscape in the solution manager would look ?
What are the "Best Practices" that guide you in your day to day work on the projects/solution?
Thank you all
