Where used document search functionality not working when implementation project created from template project

I had created a template project and in one of the business
process in general tab created a document. I then linked the document to
another process.

The where use works fine when I search on that document.

Then I created ztemplates (for every scenario) for the
template project and then spawned and implementation project wherein the scope I
had selected the scenarios which had both the original document and linked
document. This does reflect in the implementation project under the general
documentation tab and is protected as expected.

Now when I try to use the where used clause in both my
template and implementation project it stops working and only the solar_eval  reports show the original document and links
in template and implementation project.

Two question

1. Is the where used clause supposed to work when
   an implementation project is spawned from template project
2. If the first one is true can someone answer if I
   am missing something that is not making the where used clause work?
